Worked perfectly. I used a fat quarter fabric to make magnets. The flat backs are perfect for attaching the magnet with glue. Item was packaged so the backs were separate from the button front, no problem with parts sticking together. No instructions but that was easily found online.

The pricing on these buttons was great as compared to what they would have cost me to buy at any of the stores where I found them in smaller quantities. The included tool worked well. My only complaint is that it works only with thinner fabric. I was trying to use it with a medium weight upholstery type fabric and it was simply too much. However I was able to use the tool to get the fabric around the button head and then use super glue to keep it attached in back. I then glued the button to the item I wanted it on and did not even use the back. (the back would simply bend when I tried to force it on) Anyway, I would still highly recommend these if you are using a lighter weight fabric or can be creative in completing the project.

This size is great for diy jewellery. However I gave 3 stars because the template given to cut out was half a circle which was harder to use. I purchased smaller sizes and received a circular template made of hard plastic which made my job easier and faster.

They come neatly packaged and the flat backs are great for craft projects! I have had no problems with them bending.
