Poor quality as of late
I've been buying IFREQTECH radio batteries for the last several years, and the batteries typically have lasted multiple years. Over the last yar, I've had multiple units stop working within less than six months. This one stopped working after less than five months - the charging base doesn't even acknowledge that it's seated in the charger, and I even tried multiple charging bases. Disappointed; hoping that the spare IFREQTECH battery I replaced this one with will last.

Fits a VX-454, but doesn't fit a vertex CD-49 charger
It fits a VX-454 radio fine, but it doesn't fit the CD-49 charger that came with my radio. The fine print on the description said compatible with CD-58 charger so it's my fault. Check your charger model.
