seems to be perfect. haven't cast anything yet but I've played around with this and everything works as intended

I designed some challenge coins, 3d printed them, and then used this device to cast them into metal. They came out perfect. I added some sprues in the design to help let air escape to avoid bubbles.

Great product! It works perfectly for small casting. I use it for jewelry and knife making. Great price as well

I liked this flask so much I ordered another one. However the second flask was slightly a different size and lesser quality. My biggest complaint is the second flask is jointed with straight pins and has some play. This will probably affect the final cast. The first flask has tapered pins and joins very accurately. So it’s probably hit or miss on which one you get from my experience. The sand is good. Made a few great casting with it.

It's exactly what I figured I'd get. Sand feels good and holds nice. The flask is simple and rough, helps things stay in place. Very happy.

I ended up sending this back due to the fact I am not ready to buy everthing I would need for forging blades and metal fabrication. The casting I received was a terrible cast they mixed up the castings and the one I received matched up perfectly with the pouring spout half's facing away from each other. And when you flipped them and matched up the pins my casting was way off from the spout lining up nice and flush like it should of been about 30% of the spout was useless due to them matching up improperly. If I did Decide to need it I would of sent it back and just made my own if I knew I was going to receive such piss poor craftsmanship. For the cost this casting mismatch is a major oversight I myself wouldn't even bother sending this to someone with the major issues with the alignment being because someone messed up or who knows ... maybe it was sent out deliberately with the terrible matching faces being backwards🤷‍♂️ I don't know. I do know that for over $150 an oversight like this should be unacceptable!!!
