Oceanstar 18-Bottle Stackable Bamboo Wine Rack

These racks exceeded my expectations. They are very substantial (i.e. heavy), well made, attractive, and very easy to assemble. The cost of storage per bottle though is about 2x the cost ($2 per bottle) of the lighter pine racks (~ $1 per bottle) but well worth the additional money (imho). They stack well and are very sturdy. I only stacked two units high (four rows of wine) but I could see where, if they were set on a flat hard level surface, you could go to 4 or 5 high without an issue. No problems with normal wine bottles fitting, but I didn't try champagne bottles. I'm guessing you'd want to store these upright anyway. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect little wine rack. It was assembled in literally one minute. It's cute and sturdy. If I had more space, I would definitely by more to stack higher. I saw that other people had issues with their wine bottles slipping/not staying in place, but I don't have that issue at all. All my bottles (which are different shapes and sizes) stay in place just fine.

We ordered multiple sets and stacked them for our basement wine storage. They look fantastic and are really quality in fit and finish. Has a nice color finish stain/gloss - not raw bamboo - looks rich, not cheap. So nice I hate to hide them in the basement - but the temp is perfect down there. I wish they made a 6" wide shelf system for all my liquor bottles to stand up in too. Do not hesitate to order - they are very nice for an incredible price. Easy to assemble too.

Very good looking , sturdy bamboo wood. I have this stacked 5 rows (2 1/2 racks) high, and it is very stable. It does not fit Magnum bottles. It fits Cabernet, Tempranillo, Merlot bottles very well - the high shouldered bottles. It fits many of my Syrah, Petite Sirah and Pinot bottles, but not all. The diameter of the bottles are ok, even though some large bottles are almost touching each other in the rack. The problem is with shorter slope-shouldered bottles. They do slide forward and can very easily be knocked down into the next row. This limits the rack's usefulness for these wines. I am going to try putting some rubber weatherstripping along the scoops on the rack to see if that will prevent the slippage. If the rack were half an inch narrower - even with the same side bases to provide stability, this wouldn't be a problem.

This rack is much better quality than I expected. The bamboo while strong for its weight anyway is a multi laminate construction so it is probably as strong as a inch thick plywood. Anyone could fit it together in less than two minutes and multiple layers could be stacked together for a really nice look. I put it on top of our refrigerator to fill in the gap under the cabinets. It is a very similar honey color so it looks like it was a cabinet accessory which is nice.

I had to cut this down to fit in my cabinet. I use a chop saw the the cuts came out super clean. I primered and painted it white, only did a light sanding. The paint is sticking great. This is well made and I would bet you could stack quite a few on the floor and still have it stable. I only have 2 rows. 9-14-15, Joel, I am happy to post pictures. I trimmed the side supports a bit. The lower set I did not use, I think I will turn them into bookends as they are really nice layered looking wood/bamboo. I did not need the extra height and it seemed odd to have the space at the bottom. The paint is still perfect but it does not get banged around or anything so I would expect it to last forever. This unit is super sturdy. I think even if you stacked it 4 high it would not sway.

Recently, I added two more racks to accommodate more wine bottles. They matched up to the ones I have purchased in the past. The racks are clean, visually appealing, sturdy, and easy to assemble. I highly recommend them.

I am seriously impressed with this wine rack. It went together SO easily - less than 5 minutes total to assemble. The pieces are well made and fit perfectly together, exactly as they should. It's high enough off the floor that my hard floor vacuum nozzle fits under it readily, but still nice and compact. I read a review that mentioned that you can push the bottle off the rack as there is nothing to keep the bottles from being pushed back. That is true, but if you put it against the wall, the wall will keep a normal length bottle from sliding far enough back to fall off.

It arrived in a big box and wasn't damaged in transit. The wine rack was easy for me to assemble; it looks great and feels sturdy. I like the idea that you can add on to it in the future.

We live in a condo so space is at a premium. We placed them one on top of another on a shelf under a console table. These units are low profile so they fit perfectly. Although designed for 18 bottles you can double the capacity easily by layering bottles on the top row. The units are so sturdy there is no fear that they would break from the weight. These were a great buy.

Though the item came damaged it was a minor fix. The product is solid and beautiful. Easy to put together no tools needed. Perfect angle for wine storage and fits bigger bottles. Worth paying a little more for this one!!
