Meena sweeps in and turns Leo, the Pride’s Omega, and his calm, orderly world upside down. He eventually loves it but it’s a bit of a battle. If you’re used to the shifter romance where it’s all about the hero’s pursuit of the heroine and insta-love, this is not necessarily the story for you. But there was never a time that I doubted Leo’s attraction for Meena, and when he goes all in, he goes ALL IN.Lots of humor and sexy times: Meena’s considered a catastrophe on two legs. Where she goes, Trouble follows - which coincidently is her sister’s nickname, but that’s another story. Anyway, there’s alot of humor throughout the book, which is why I love reading Ms. Langlais’ shifter romances. There’s a good mixture throughout the book - let’s just call it funny smut or smutty fun. Either way, I liked it.Wacky heroine: I loved that Meena didn’t have a confidence issue. Her motto is “Live for today, live for the moment, never let fear win.” She’s a Big (literally, over 6 feet tall with curves to match), Beautiful Woman. All caps. She knew she was awesome and even if she had a small moment of self-doubt, she didn’t let it get her down.

There’s not enough of that in the world and I loved that she owned it all.Stoic hero: Leo’s the zen Omega. The one used to being obeyed. And if he’s a little bored with life because he has it so under control, well, he’s ok with that. Until Meena shows him how boring that is. He struggled and I wasn’t used to that in my shifter hero, but it grew on me.Simple story: There's no major action, it's fairly straightforward and fairly thin as far as plot. It's sweet and enjoyable but not particularly deeper than that.The Bottom LineI liked it. Add in a determine past suitor that wants the girl and you get a man that can't hide his inner liger (lion tiger mix). I love Meena and her one liners that cause Leo's jaw tick or his eye twitch. which is a favorite i like to cause my own hubby. You can never go wrong reading any of Eve's Laugh out loud, giggling and snickering books. I love having people look at me odd while reading in public. Because this books are so worth it! “Resistance is futile. But cute. Think of me later when you’re masturbating, I know I’ll be thinking of you.” With a last stolen bite of his dinner, she popped up from her seat and sashayed to the bar. Don’t look. Don’t look. Pfft. He was a cat. Of course he looked, and admired the hypnotic swish of her ass.”Menna just allowed back in the pride do to trouble at home and her daddy ask Arik the Alpha. No one says no to her Daddy. When out of the blue she finds the man that makes her lioness perk up and take notice.. The Omega and oh she likes to lead him on a merry chase. Only problem he just wants to fight how he feels but that wont deter her and her purist of her MATE.Leo loves calm and organization and into hers arms falls a delicate freakin flower NOT. Almost as tall as him and makes his liger stand up along with other parts and take notice. He doesnt need the vexation that she will cause but when another man from her past comes sniffing her he looses his will placed cool and boy does that poor Omega snap.. “You were playing in the road?” “Road, sidewalk, does it really matter? A female voice that he does not recognize. He gets hit in the head with something. What is it? Who is it that retrieves what hit him? Who are Meena and Teena? Why have they been gone? What did Arik's father do? When this mysterious person starts calling him pet names like snookums and pookie, how does Leo feel about that? Why is she doing that? What does she claim they are? When she won't leave him alone and breaks into his apartment. She demands food in the morning from him and he leaves, making her leave as well. She follows him to the cafe, gets a call from her sister and then Dimitri shows up with his goons. Who is Dimitri? What did he want with her? His she handling herself and what happens when Leo walks out and gives the goons a highly suggested order to not touch her? I love Leo's inner liger. He's so funny on his thinking, wants, and desires. Especially when it goes against what Leo is saying will or will not happen. My favorite part of the book so far is the liger's comment, "Sad meow." After an international incident is incited by her, causing Leo and Dimitri to fight in public in a bar, when they return to the tower, Leo is called into the principal's office (Arik's office). What happens? She goes to get drunk and eat ice cream with the girls and what does Leo say to her mother that has her screeching for her father and then what does he say to her father on the phone? You're going to have to read to find out how vexing this "Vex" is for Leo and what happens. While I'm not laughing as hard as I did at book 2, there is indeed a lot of eye rolling, grinning, and shaking of my head going on. Why is Leo going to Russia to rescue someone?
