Prabhuji's Gifts Jugala Damask Rose Oil, 0.5 OZ

I discovered this scent a few years ago. Just a little behind my neck, on my wrists, and I am good to go. I find no heavy "rose" smell about it, which is good because many rose-scented fragrances smell old-ladyish (FYI I'm hip and in my 60s haha :). It's just a lovely, sensual, oriental-type fragrance with a roll-on ball that I get many compliments on when I wear it. Oh, and it lasts on me. This bottle, which I just ordered, is for my daughter, who always compliments me when I wear it. She loves it and is not a perfume wearing person herself, so that should tell you something.

Usually I avoid perfumes and fragrances like the plague - preferring essential oils or light lotions. This scent is a beautiful rose scent, but deeper almost like a musky rose instead of heavy floral. It smells slightly different in each person, but seems to be beautiful on everyone. Very different than anything out there you'll find. When I wear it, people compliment me constantly and I've continually have strangers stopping me trying to identify the particular fragrance. Definitely worth buying - in bulk! Also, a little goes a long way - one bottle lasts forever. I pray they never stop making this!

Attar oil is my favorite way to wear perfume. This one smells so natural and clean. Like walking through a forest. This brand is the best by far. The scent as the day wears on changes slightly to more musky undertones. It has such a long staying power. Can't go wrong here.

This stuff is amazing! Smells great. If you're familiar with Chandrika Ayurvedic soap, it smells just like that. A little goes a long way, so the bottle, though small, will last a very long time.

The smell seemed a bit off, but that just might be my Western nose.

I will have to give this away. It's not what I ordered at all...

smells like chemicals. I threw it out. : (

I wear this oil pretty much all day, every day (sometimes I combine with Auric Blends Sandalwood), and I can't tell you how many complimentary comments I've recieved! I adore this scent, it's an exotic, deep, almost spicy rose-definitely not the norm. Not your Grandmothers rose perfume! If you want to stand out, make an impression and provide that little extra aromatherapy-esque "something", this is the way to go! Highly recommended. Would say though, it's not as long lasting as the Auric Blends scents....but then again, I would take a bath in this stuff so, I try to not let that get me down too much...
