Daughter loves this book and spends hours learning drawing techniques.

I bought this book even though it's targeted for kids and I'm an adult, but I loved what I saw in the preview. Flipping through it, there's an amazing amount of subjects to draw and explained quite well! While I've been drawing for awhile, I know that I will learn from this book! Great price and would make an excellent gift for an artist in your life! :o)

My 6 yr old daughter (who LOVES to draw) got this for her birthday. It is a book that gives step by step instructions on how to draw many different things and gives detailed instructions for various drawling skills. (Shading, two-point perspective, 3D shapes etc.) It is a perfect activity for “quiet time”. She is on the younger side for the content of the chapters, but she understands the visuals and likes to copy them! As she continues to grow this book will continue to provide tips that she had not caught on to at her current age. It is definitely an advanced step by step guidebook. I would stick with the recommend audience age 9-12 yrs, unless you have a child who really loves drawing and pays close attention to detail. Great gift idea that keeps giving and isn’t another plastic toy!

As a former homeschool mom I wish I had this book when I was homeschooling. It is a great resource for teaching kids (and adults) some basic drawing skills. The 24 chapters could easily be used as 24 weeks of art curriculum for middle school and high school students. I am soon to retire and bought the book for myself to add some additional drawing skills to create collage art. I'm looking forward to using it.

I love this book! I can not find books for adults on how to draw that aren't super boring and just talking about technique. I have learned so much : I would call this " How to Draw: Easy Techniques and Step-by-Step Drawings for ADULTS (or ALL AGES) . Unless your kid is Van Gogh i don't think its a beginners level book , but i love it. There's some easier drawings and some harder ones. Maybe a fun book to share between an older child and parent. Its kind of like the Books by Parragon : "You Can Draw It All"( pink) , "You can Draw Everything"(purple) and "You can draw Animals" (blue) with all the different authors. Except i think those are more older kid friendly and really break it down more. I have all 4 for myself; so no age limit involved. I will add more pictures later
