My grandchildren are obsessed with Play-Doh. They make everything with it. They make play food, monsters, animals, you name it. I saw this on prime day and purchased this because it was such a good price. There are 24 different colors. Most of the extra colors are ones you cannot ordinarily buy in a smaller pack so my grandkids were really excited. They are three and four years old. Not only that, since there are so many, I don’t have to worry about running out for a long time. I always find a little piece here and there Was not put back in the container and of course it dries out the price that I paid and the assortment that I got I am really not worried about that as long as they do this outside away from my white furniture! I am a retired teacher and Play-Doh is one of the best manipulatives for kids with all abilities . One more thing, Play doh is great to put in a potted plant with artificial flowers to hold the flowers in place. Much cheaper than some other alternatives.

These are the perfect size and quality for toddlers. Yes, you have to watch them to make sure they don't put it in their mouths or mix the colors. But you can indeed give this to toddlers 15 to 30 months, and they can explore the texture, colors, and make shapes and smush it to their hearts' delight. Even if they find your stash when you are not right there (or it is out on a shelf at a daycare center) these lids seal tightly, and are difficult to pen, so they probably won't even be able to get into it on their own. However, the fact that they are so hard to open and then seal again to keep moist, is an advantage. 1) An adult must help them get it out and put it away - automatic lessons on patience and turn-taking; 2) One can make sure that they do not take another color out while they still have the one out that you gave them before; 3) The volume of play-doh is perfect for toddlers hands and attention; 4) If you gather it up and put it away while it is still soft, you just pick up the little pieces by smushing it with the biggest part, and teach toddlers that even cleaning up can be amusing and feel good. 5) As the adult, one knows that they have to double check all are sealed before the whole box/bin is put away, or it's no one else's "fault" but the adult's if they are dried out by the next time they are used. 6) Small containers mean the child can feel like they "don't even have to share", but get their very own container to themselves; but also, if a container is left unsealed or gets dirty on the floor, you are not throwing out a while can of Play-doh, because of one learning experience Little mess, fun for the children, new experiences of texture and small motor competence. Win-win, all around.

Awesome, students love it

I bought these for first grade students to use in the classroom. They were the perfect size (3 oz) for each student to have their own color. I love that the modeling compound is non-toxic and safe for students to play with. There was a soft limited odor. Just smelled like doh. There was a good variety of colors to choose from and the doh was versatile, pliable, and easy to mold and play with. The students had fun with this product. I felt that the price was reasonable and a good value for the 24 pack case.

My kids love play-doh and can spend hours playing it so why not get them the rainbow. I received various colors but also repeated colors. Now I can be negative about the repeated colors but theres also pros to it. Main one being no fighting for the color, my 2 children can get the same color for short activities or when going to grandmas. I also did open them to check for mold and everything looked good. On another note the caps are TIGHTLY sealed! Im an adult and I had a little hard time opening some but again can also be a pro, my 2 year old can not easily open these and the playdoh doesn't dry. My main reason for the 4 stars is I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't receive a solid blue or red and it should be sold as advertised. Regardless its a good buy, the play doh will be played with.

These are full size containers. I was expecting the minis. Great value!
