Is this board rigid or flexible? 1/8 inch doesn't seem thick enough to not bend under pressure if using it propped up or on your lap.

It says here "Product Dimensions 9 x 12 x 0.6 inches" I see here in the questions 1/8" thick. What is it?

Does the board handle having tape repeatedly placed and removed from it?

The school has this board (or something similar) the kids use for art class. The tape I have seen most used is painters tape, the stuff you use on walls.

I will be gluing an acrylic painting done on paper to board. Do I need to seal the board first.

The board is very smooth and pressed, but I would seal it first. I did, however, glue paper to it with a wet glue with no issues.

Is this used for backing of a painting? If so how can it be attached?

These boards are for painting upon after sealing and priming. However, you could attach one to the back of a painting with a drill and screws. But, remember, paintings should not have a cover on the back unless ventilated. It has been discovered that "dust covers" cause mildew.
