(Amended from earlier…) I ordered these assorted toffees to keep in the car for when I need a little snack while on long drives or waiting in parking lots to pick up my kids from their various activities. I live in the northern USA, so the weather here varies with the seasons, and I was looking for a nice, buttery candy I could sink my teeth into, but that wouldn’t be so soft that I would have to worry about them melting or getting gooey in warmer weather. These do the job nicely, as they are not quite as soft as caramels, but still offer a rich, satisfying chew. At first I thought my assortment did not include Dark Chocolate Covered toffees, because in the batch I received the plain Chocolate flavored toffees and the Dark Chocolate Covered toffees were both wrapped in what looked to be the same red foil, so when I did my count of how many there were of each flavor I mistook them all for the plain Chocolate-flavored (non-coated) toffees. I only realized my mistake afterwards, by which point quite a few had been consumed, so here is the count, such as it was: Total: 146 pieces Milk Chocolate Eclair: 27 English Creamy Toffee: 29 Milk Chocolate Covered: 27 Choc. flavored/Dk. Choc. Covered: 33* Banana Split Eclair: 30 (*Both flavors combined) I agree that the chocolate flavored toffees could taste a little more chocolatey, but the nostalgic quality of chocolate flavoring, if memory serves, is that it does not taste much like actual chocolate at all, so I am fine with it.The banana split toffees were a fun departure from the other flavors, and not too cloyingly sweet, as I’d feared. I found the milk chocolate covered toffees to be the softest, perhaps because the chocolate coating seals in the moisture. Overall I am happy with the flavors, texture, quantity and variety of these assorted toffees, and would buy them again. :) PS: Other reviewers who wrote of having to put these far away from themselves so as to avoid eating them non-stop are right — I’d eaten 6 in the time it took me to write this review, plus had shared & eaten several more before publishing!

product came with lid already open and label at the top was torn. I hesitated to try the toffee and they were extremely stale and hard. The product says expiration date 05/09/26 which is in two months. Extremely disappointing product

Very expensive but absolutely taste delicious. Only 20 calories each. I use one of them as a reward on my diet if I’ve eaten right all day! I let them melt in my mouth to savor the family. Each flavor is delicious. I couldn’t find them anywhere but Amazon to buy. I was looking for a cheaper price. Very fresh but the sell-by date is only several months after purchase.

Just like I remember them form when I was a kid.

I really like Walkers toffee. The only flavor I haven't tried is licorice because I don't like anyone's licorice. This is the third tub I've bought. That being said, I was excited to get the advertised flavors BUT they are not all the correct advertised flavors. I got a lot of chocolate toffee (which I didn't even know they made) instead of dark chocolate covered toffee which was advertised as being in the tub. The dark chocolate covered toffee is one of my two favorites and the chocolate toffee is just ok. I think the problem is the dark chocolate covered and the chocolate toffee are wrapped in the same COLOR. That is really stupid. Somebody was not paying attention when the filled the tubs!. Also, while the flavors are truly good the toffees in the tub I received are hard.

Worth a buy.
