In Spring and Summer, at night I usually leave the kitchen door open to get cool air into the house, which then maps to not needing to run the air-conditioner during day and saves money on electricity ($100 or $200 a month savings). I have screen doors, but there are gaps, and house or horse flies get into the kitchen, so I spray them with flying insect spray. The result is no flies, but then there are a lot of dead flies on the kitchen countertop. I got this Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum specifically to deal with dead flies, but also to use to clean the carpets in my car for small stuff (leaves, dirt, and so forth). The unit arrived a few minutes ago, and I used it to get the dead flies. It's perfect, and I am very happy. You might think, "Why not just sweep them with a brush?", but it's not so easy. The kitchen countertop has various items scattered around--covered so flies don't get on it--so sweeping into a scoop with a brush will not work. Done that way I would need to remove everything on the kitchen countertop, which is not practical or easy to do. With the Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum, I extend the nozzle, and it's easy to get between items on the kitchen countertop. I'm in a rural area, so there is no practical way to avoid flies, including horse flies which are bigger than house flies. The Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum provides the desired solution and is easy to use, to clean, and to recharge. It's an excellent product!

Powerful and useful. I have roaches here and it sucks themright in. The battery doesn’t last long. It charges eSily though and is easy to tote around. Remember to clean the filters. When I didn’t it stopped charging and lost power easily when used. As long as the filters are kept clean it works very well. I really like it.

I needed to replace my hand held dyson but did not want to spend a fortune. I decided on this one. It has great suction and does what I need it to do. I did buy some extra filters. The one that comes with it is washable, but while it's drying you may want to have a spare. I love that you can make the length of the nozzle longer. I gave 4 star only because it does not have an attachment with a brush on the end. I'm looking for maybe a generic that would work.

Dedicated litter vacuum bc I think it's nasty to contaminate a house vacuum that will spread germs to all surfaces. It gets everything up. Powerful. Lightweight. Portability. Value. Cordless.

Nice compact lightweight unit that I use mostly for those quick car interior cleanup jobs. Gets into most tight places and has plenty of suction to pick up the loose dirt. The built-in wand extension is greatly appreciated. For the price point well built. Definitely beats hauling out the large shop vacuum for smaller jobs. Seems to hold about a 30–45-minute charge on low power setting when new. Does take a long time to fully recharge - usually 4-5 hours. Easy to clean.

This is the 3rd time I've purchased a hand held vacuum like this. They each last a few years, but we are pretty hard on them. They all worked really well and I want to say this is the best yet! I would definitely buy this one again in a heart beat! It is a very good quality, and it has two modes, one is a light vacuum, and if you press the power button again it's a turbo charge with extra suction. The storage capacity is great, and I can go a week or two without emptying (if I wanted) but I don't typically let that happen. The assembly is simple, and straight forward. The ease of cleaning is impeccable. I definitely recommend this to anyone!

Wonderful suction power but you almost need to wear ear protection BECAUSE OF BEING SO LOUD WHEN YOU USE IT.. Kind of Disappointing especially it being a Black & Decker?? Does anyone really test their products before they sell them?? Just Curious ?? Wish I could return this product ??

Great product! Excellent suction power on either of the two settings.. the super power suction is insanely powerful. Long lasting battery. Would be great if this came with a car charger in addition to the regular AC plug. Bought this for my car but I'm using it a lot at home and it picks up dust great. A+++ UPDATE: This is THE best dustbuster I have ever had (and I've had a lot!) I'm talking about lasting battery power, suction strength, and size and ease of cleaning the dust collecting compartment. I've been using it for a while now, originally got it for my car but it's so helpful around the apartment I actually use it more at home than in the car. I did two small clean up jobs last week and didn't plug in the charger after. Then today I used it on the floors in almost a half my apartment, and the dressers and tables, and the battery and suction power were strong and dependable. I went to my computer thinking, "this thing really deserves a great review" and I signed into Amazon and when I called up this order to write a review, I see I already had done one. It's well deserved. When I say "don't hesitate" I really mean it. This isn't for wet/spills it's a dry vac. FEATURE REQUEST: A soft brush attachment for dusting shelves and dressers would be helpful. Also the rectangular shape of the mouth is great but an attachment for a few inches more of extension with a small round opening for dusting small items would be amazing.

Hi. Have just received this and there is a loose piece of triangular clear plastic with a black flap. Should this be fitted into the dust box? Anyone had the same issue and is it important.

I love this dustbuster vac. I struggled for years with one that had a different design that was so difficult to empty the cannister and reattach it. This one couldn't be easier-press one button to open and dump. The dual filters inside are also very easy to remove, clean, and reinsert when necessary. It's got great suction and is super easy to charge-just plug it in. There are no bases for it to sit in and no battery to remove and reinstall to charge. It's also not too heavy.

Muy potente, me ayuda a limpiar muy bien los sillones pues tiene dos niveles de potencia que puedo regular, el indicador de batería me gusta mucho pues puedo saber cuánto le queda o cuánto le falta por cargar, pesa poco. El único punto negativo es que la batería le dura poco pero me permite limpiar lo necesario.

Bad suction and USA plug, l had to buy USA to UK plug, old fashion charger and weak suction, very disappointed with the brand
