I bought this to help with sitting in the car and sitting in regular chairs to help support my back while I heal and probably beyond. This is perfect! I also bought a lumbar roll which I will be returning because the strap wasn't working. I like this much better and will probably buy a second one eventually to keep in my car or at work for my desk job. It is a little bulky so it isn't something you could throw in a bag/purse unless it was a large bag. Nevertheless, I could see myself bringing this thing with me to class at School.I think I would rather have straps that clip around the chair like a seatbelt rather than the stretchy elastic. I could easily sew a buckle on here if need be. I have found I don't necessarily need the strap as I can just adjust it and my back holds it in place. It fits the curve of my back very well, though it seems to push me forward in my chair. The chair I use it on does have some lumbar support in itself, so that may have something to do with it. It is a sturdy, well-made model. My coworkers jokingly called it the "deluxe model" since it is very well made and large compared to the ones they use (mesh support or small wedge pillow) I like it most days, though sometimes I find it is just too much. In a chair with little or no support this would be excellent. I would not recommend this pillow for larger people, as the sides are formed and curve in toward my sides.
