The Complete Instant Pot Cookbook for Beginners: 550 Quick and Delicious Instant Pot Recipes for Smart People on a Budget [Jones, Michelle] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Complete Instant Pot Cookbook for Beginners: 550 Quick and Delicious Instant Pot Recipes for Smart People on a Budget Review: Awesome recipes, Lots of Options - Holy cow, I LOVE this cookbook. I've read/browsed through a good amount of Instant Pot cookbooks, but this is probably my favorite. I LOVE the recipes. They are using real ingredients, and by real I mean ingredients that are real, whole food, as well as ingredients that are not exotic or hard to find. I really appreciate finding a book with healthy "real" recipes. So far every recipe I've tried has been delicious. My favorite is probably the Savory Orange Chicken, although there are still a ton I haven't yet tried. The only thing I miss in this cookbook is pictures. I do wish there were pictures because that's what gets my kids excited to try new things...seeing the pictures and choosing the ones that look the best to them. I love this book. It's going to be very well loved and very well used over the years. Review: Easiest cookbook for beginners! - Iโve had an instant pot for years, but Iโve been so intimidated by it that itโs kind of just been sitting in the cupboard. I was looking for a cookbook that would be simple and have easy meals for my family to enjoy. This is the one! Iโve had a few cookbooks, but this one is by far the better and more simple of the few Iโve collected. Ive been toying around with the idea of going more plant-based and this book even has a section with easy plant-based recipes. Canโt wait to make more of them for me and my family to enjoy.

Good collection of recipes but not a โhow-toโ book.
The title implies that you can learn how to cook with your instant pot which is what I was looking for. I was afraid of the instant pot because I didnโt fully understand how it worked - a beginner - so I thought this book would help. It is really a collection of instant pot recipes with very little about how to use the pot. Recipes are easy to follow and there are 500+ of them. The organization of the book doesnโt make a lot of sense to me. The Table of Contents is simple and there is no index. If I have certain ingredients I want to look in the index for those ingredients and see what recipes I can make. With this organization, you have to read every recipe to find what will work. The table of contents has a section โMorning Recipesโ and the 1st recipe is chicken sandwiches with barbecue sauce - not a crock pot recipe to prep and have ready later in the day. Just not what I would consider a morning recipe.

One of the perfect guidebook
Iโve perfected the art of using the Instant Potโฆand now Iโm sharing it all with you in my recipe book. The Instant Pot is a more than just a pressure cooker and air fryer combo. Just use the Instant Pot once, and youโll be hooked. Youโll never go back to cooking food in the oven or on the stovetop ever again. The buzz about the Instant Pot is genuine. It uses cutting-edge technology to let you cook meals fast as well as get all the benefits of a pressure cookerโฆall in one! The Instant Pot is more than just a kitchen appliance. ! It can roast, broil, make soups, and stewsโฆand it can pressure cook as well. Prescribed!

Not Really for Beginner Cooks, Only Beginner Instant Pot Cooks
I like cookbooks. Period. So I like this cookbook. I like it for it's range of recipes - everything from Horchata to Bulgarian-Style Moussaka to Old-Fashioned Apple Pie. However, what I really do not like is that the recipe index is not alphabetized, and neither are the recipes on the pages. This is time-consuming and irritating. And with recipes that begin with Simple, Delicious, Plant-Based, or Weekend one can't simply run a finger down the list, you'll have to scan the whole recipe title, and that takes time. I'm sure the idea is to get one to look through the recipes and find all sorts of adventurous new things to make. My problem with that is that by the time I look through all those recipes I no longer have time to cook those adventurous recipes and instead have to order a pizza. In addition, the author offers recipes with obscure or exotic ingredients but doesn't offer information on what they are or where they may be obtained. For example, said Horchata recipe calls for chufa seeds. In order to prepare this recipe, I'll have to Google chufa seeds, source them, order them, and wait for them to arrive before I can even begin. In the first 6 pages of recipes, there were 3 such ingredients. Mind you, someone who is a good cook and ingredient savvy and lives in an area where many things are readily available wouldn't find this as big a problem as it would be for many others. One last thing, I find the title of this cookbook misleading. It is not for beginners, only for instant pot beginners. You'll likely need a pretty good understanding of food and ingredients in general if you hope to be successful with these recipes.

This cookbook has super easy to follow and delicious recipes
Okay. This book is great. It could be called โInstapot for dummiesโ and Iโd still love it. The recipes are simple (some are more complicated but plenty arenโt) and yummy. I completely failed the first few times I tried to use the instapot and Iโm learning why. There isnโt a โcrispy moisture protection layerโ now. Just glistening sauces on top of tender meat. This cookbook has super easy to follow and delicious recipes.

Great for new Instant Pot users!
I received an Instant Pot, but was terrified to use it. I was hesitant because nobody wants to dig into a beautiful looking meal, only to discover that the chicken is still raw in the middle. Or worse, have the contraption spew hot steam all over when you try to open the lid. This book, chock-full of easy and tasty recipes, put my fears to rest. Easy to follow instructions on a wide variety of dishes, this book will be saving me so much money in the new year, now that I'll be able to make so many more dishes at home.

I enjoyed this cookbook. It doesn't have pictures but I don't need that. I can imagine from the ingredients and how to make it how it will turn out. I did find some good recipes to try for the future. I'd recommend this cookbook for anyone esp. who is new at electric pressure cooking. Would buy again for someone else as a gift.
