It included the plastic circles to be painted, a set of paint, a paintbrush, and a sheet of adhesive magnet material. Be aware that the circles are about the size of quarters and dimes so painting can be a bit tedious if you are trying to do anything detailed. Everything in the kit worked as expected and it was a lot of fun. As a side note in case you try other paints than what comes with (I wanted more colors so I purchased tempera paint separately), it seems tempera paint started to flake and peel off after it dried, so I quickly applied a layer of clear coat nail polish to preserve it.
