Got out on the lake over the weekend and realized I'd lost the fin hardware that came with my Hala board. I'm sometimes skeptical of ordering from Amazon because of all the fake reviews (it's hard to tell what's legitimately good) but pulled the trigger on these. Glad I did as I just tested them and they are perfect. Solid hardware, a great fit and easy installation. Another reviewer mentioned that they were too short for their board, but I'm guessing they must have a non-standard size as this fit exactly like my prior hardware. Glad to have a couple of backups in case I lose one of them again.

These fin screws are exactly what you'd expect—they're direct replacements for the screws that likely came with your fin. They work perfectly and are just as advertised. Simple, reliable, and they get the job done.

These "no tool" fin screws work well; they seemed like a nice luxury, and as a same-day item they helped fill out another order that I wanted to get that day. I've been really happy with the purchase. I remove my fin after each session (to make it easier to stack multiple boards in my Subaru Outback) and haven't experienced any difficulty attaching or removing the fin. I was originally worried these screws would seize up and be hard to remove by hand, this hasn't been an issue, although I do see some rust on the threads and base. I suspect frequent removal helps prevent any seizing issues. Neither have I had any issues with them being loose after a session -- I tighten them to a reasonable hand tightness without putting too much force into it. I would recommend them if you want to easily swap fins on your longboard. I've only used the one so far, nice to get three to have backups or change out the screws on some of my other boards. O-ring still seems to keep the screw tight after about 2 months of regular weekend sessions.

I moved last fall and took my fin off my paddle board so it didn’t break. Well. I found everything i was looking for this summer except for the bit that attaches the fin. A friend helped me jimmy rig the fin on for an outing but i knew this was not the solution. I came to Amazon to find a replacement part. Not only did this work but it didn’t require any tools! Its sturdy, secure and exactly what i needed. I am so pleased!

This screw makes it much, much easier to secure the fin on my paddle board. The one it came with was a phillips head screw and a rectangle nut that had to be placed a certain way. You either needed a small screwdriver or some something strong to be able to tighten it properly. This nut is square, you drop it in after inserting the fin, line up the holes, insert the screw, tighten, and voila. Because of its design, it's easy to handle and I haven't lost any pieces yet. I always keep an extra screw and nut in my bag just in case. My only problem is that people with large fingers will have to use the screw to shimmy the nut into position to line up with the fin hole. But it's the best design I've found so far. Thanks!

These came just in time for our paddleboard outing! My husband bought them in hopes to use them for our KX ONE boards! We lost the original screw a while ago and these fit perfectly! Quality is great and they will last a while! Definitely worth how much we paid for them, and they came in 1 day.
