I use 0.9 mm for writing as I am a heavy handed writer. The classic thin 0.9 mm pencil by Cross had been my edc for years. Then, it was time to change, and I opted for this one. Happy as the lead holder retracts inside, leving the shirt undamaged. I like the weight and the grip of the pencil, giving a satisfactory writing experience.

I heard of this Pentel pencil when researching some other pencils online and lost no time in getting one for my collection. The retract mechanism is unique : it pulls the lead sleeve back into the pencil body when the 'reminder' clip at the top of the pencil is pressed. A point to note : the lead does NOT retract fully into the pencil by just pressing the 'reminder' clip after writing with this pencil. You have to press the plunger cap, push the lead in with your finger and THEN press the 'reminder' clip at the top of the pencil, for both the lead sleeve (with lead) to snap back into the body of the pencil. I also liked that Pentel has printed the lead size on the top of the plunger - in a pen-holder among other pencils, one can immediately ascertain what lead size this has. Also, the sleeve with the Hardness/Darkness grade window (at the top of the finger-grip section) is a good thought. As regards strength or longevity, I am not the one to comment, because I never use any writing instrument that I buy for my collection. That keeps them in pristine condition forever.

Pantel Graph Gear 1000 mechanical pencil is sturdy & sleek, just as per my liking. If the price could have been little more reasonable then even better. Those of you who care for quality “GO FOR IT”

Als jemand, der gutes Werkzeug zu schätzen weiß, bin ich vom Pentel GraphGear 1000 rundum begeistert. Dieser Druckbleistift ist kein bloßes Schreibgerät – er ist ein Statement in Sachen Qualität, Ergonomie und Design. Der Stift liegt hervorragend in der Hand. Die Kombination aus Metallgehäuse und teils gummierter Griffzone sorgt für eine ausgewogene Haptik: griffig, aber nicht klebrig – stabil, aber nicht schwer. Das durchdachte Gewicht und die feine Balance machen ihn zu einem idealen Werkzeug für längeres Zeichnen, Skizzieren oder Schreiben. Besonders gefällt mir der vordere Bereich mit der punktuell eingearbeiteten Gummierung. Er verhindert zuverlässig das Abrutschen, selbst bei feuchten oder ermüdeten Fingern. Was mir allerdings ein Schmunzeln (und gelegentliches Kopfschütteln) entlockt: Ich bin selten der Einzige, der den GraphGear 1000 in unserem Haushalt zu schätzen weiß. Allzu oft finde ich ihn nicht an seinem Platz – meine Familienmitglieder lieben ihn ebenfalls und „leihen“ ihn sich regelmäßig aus. Ein besseres Kompliment kann man einem Stift kaum machen. Fazit: Wer mehr sucht als einen simplen Druckbleistift, wer ein zuverlässiges, hochwertiges Werkzeug für präzises Arbeiten möchte, wird im GraphGear 1000 einen treuen Begleiter finden. Ein echtes Lieblingsstück – so gut, dass man ihn am besten gleich mehrfach kauft. Für sich selbst – und zur Verteidigung gegen "interne Verluste".

Es un portaminas de calidad. Buenos acabados, grip perfecto porque ni es débil ni demasiado fuerte para dañar los dedos. Portaminas balanceado debido al peso adecuado de los componentes. Robusto. Punta retráctil que permite que el portaminas se pueda transportar en la ropa sin daño a que ésta se manche o desgarre. Además la punta retráctil evita que el portaminas sufra daños en ésta si se cae desde cierta altura. Clip fuerte. Tengo el grosor 0.9 mm. Hice un pedido de minas a pentel y son estupendas esas minas, las mejores que he probado por color y dureza.

Excelente, vem com instruções na caixa sobre alguns usos e alertas. Ela é ótima para escrever, não é tão pesada e talvez não tão resistente quanto minha Staedtler 925, mas são 2 excelentes lapiseiras que uso agora.
