We love Ravensburger puzzles in our household. They are beautifully made with exceptional quality. The tactile experience is superior to other cardboard puzzles we have tried. The board is thick and smooth, and the pieces interlock easily and are not difficult to undo. This particular 60 piece puzzle was perfect for my boy when he was 4 as he was mad about construction and other vehicles. The colours are vibrant, the details fantastic, and there are enough clues in each piece to guide you roughly to the correct area of the puzzle. As a 4 year old, our boy found it challenging and his 5 year old sister loved helping him. These jig-saw puzzles are so much fun, and not necessarlly redundant as the children find them easier with age. 4 years later, our children are 8 and 9. We now set up multiple puzzles and time the kids, so they work against a clock, trying to beat previous times. So the puzzles are still made but with a time focus. We keep a record in the box of how long it took last time it was made up. Then we can try and beat that time when the box is next opened. Sometimes we mix the pieces of many sets and the kids have to work out which piece goes with which puzzle. We add elements of difficulty by hiding the boxes, so there are no visual clues, except the pieces before them. If you’re creative, these 60 piece puzzles can last beyond their “age-by” date.

So far, we have been very happy with the Ravensberger brand of puzzles. They have always been well make sturdy puzzles that will last for years. They have beautiful colorful pictures. You do pay a little more for them, but you get what you pay for. I personally would rather pay a few more dollars to get something that my family can use for years to come.

Ravensburger’s “Construction Crowd” is a colorful 60-piece puzzle that children who love machinery and construction will enjoy. Featuring a number of pieces of construction equipment, it has enough distinct areas to prevent a child becoming frustrated because they cannot distinguish which piece fits into a particular area. Ravensburger’s “Construction Crowd” puzzle is sturdy and the illustration is firmly attached to the backing. This should prevent those children who take everything apart from “peeling” the puzzle pieces apart. The die-cuts are smooth, allowing for easy assembly. Pieces fit together well. They are not so tight that a child will become frustrated, nor so loose that the puzzle will fall apart if jostled slightly. Even the box Ravensberger has used is sturdy. Although recommended for ages 5 - 15 years of age, I think older children would be uninterested in a puzzle that is so simple. However, younger children with whom an adult is “playing” can enjoy Ravensburger’s “Construction Crowd” puzzle. This set of puzzles was a big hit with my grandson who loves the book “Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site”. This Ravensberger puzzle is definitely a 5-star item– not only for the fun factor, but also for durability and educational value.

Great construction puzzle for little boys! With 10 pieces across and 6 pieces down, our five year old needed help constructing this one. Ravensburger claim: Handmade cutting tools ensure no two pieces are alike * Pieces that really fit * Grained paper ensures glare free picture * Strong pieces that don't break * Made from special recycled board Each piece measures approx. 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". The completed puzzle measures 14 1/4" x 10 1/3". Although good quality, this puzzle does not compare with the quality of Djeco! Yes the pieces are well made and relatively thick but I can see them getting bent over time. They are not coated on both sides like Djeco but they are not shiny so do have the advantage of no glare.

These are always high quality puzzles! This design is perfect for any little boy who loves trucks and the picture quality is great! The difficulty level was perfect for my 5 year old.

Puzzles are the virtually the only quiet time activity I can get my loud and larger than life son to sit down and do. So, I knew Ravensburger made quality puzzles, but I had yet to purchase one, and I was not disappointed. The cardboard these are printed on is heavy and thick. I am not afraid that the pieces will become bent easily from my son's heavy handedness. Obviously, watch around water! The pieces fit and snap together wonderfully. There were no instances of "I know this piece goes here, but it just won't go in!" For my five year-old, the pieces were cut in such a way that my son could see the pictures clearly, organize, and assemble the puzzle without frustration. It still took him time to put it together with some assistance from me, but he never got bored or angry at not being able to figure out sections of the puzzle. The colors of the picture on the puzzle were just as vibrant as the box. The high quality of this product means that I will be purchasing more in the future.

My 4 year old grandson loves this Construction puzzle and has done it numerous times already. I just ordered two more Ravensburger puzzles for him. Good quality. I've been buying Ravensburger puzzles for a few years for my older grandson (not brothers) and he loves doing them also.

I have been buying Ravensburger puzzles for years - for my children, my students and now for my 95 year old father-in-law who is in a nursing home and has dementia. The pieces are super sturdy for young hands and older, shaky ones. The colours of the puzzle are very vivid. These are definitely worth the price for the excellent quality. I also like the variety of themes for the puzzles.

Ordered on the 18th afternoon and it arrived the next day noon. Puzzle exactly as described. Very pleased
