perfect for aluminum
this is my second one a backup incase i do something foolish. so far this bit has done great. clean fast cuts on my CNC machine hundreds of pieces cut through slots in quarter inch 6063 bar stock at 15000 rpm and 40 inches per minute and a plunge rate of 5 ipm. I could probably push that up some but itis working to perfection and I don't want to reprogram lol. highly recomended ! regulars end mill only cut about one linear inch before gumming up and failing. his seep tiger is well worth it.

Great Price *and* Quality!
I purchased the IAUE5/16"3, IAUE3/8"3, and IAUE1/2"3 a long time ago, but never got around to using them until recently. For the price, all three of them have been amazing. I mill aluminum dry, so chip welding is an issue with poorly polished endmills as is of course a dull edge. Needless to say, I have had zero issues with finish, chip evacuation, and longevity. These endmills have easily withstood the abuse I've put them through and I will likely be back for more! Added bonus - Many endmills and other CNC bits sold on Amazon have zero information in the way of feedrates, chipload, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Speed Tiger offers pretty in-depth and accurate (according to automatic calculations in Fusion360 doublechecking the numbers) datasheets for their bits on their website. Thank you for that!

Wow! These worked great for my aluminum BattleBot parts.
I needed to make some parts for a Hub-Motor being used in a BattleBot (see picture). The parts are for a small motor with small details, hence I needed a small 1/8" end mill for my 1/4" CNC (MillRight CarveKing) router. I bought these (SPEED TIGER IAUE 1/8" 3-flute Carbide Square End Mill for Aluminum Applications) (Amazon/Speed Tiger: please re-list these, they are awesome). The picture shows the two parts I made (five of each), total machining time was ~16 hours, all using the same end mill. The last part came out as well as the first part. I pushed the limit, with 20mm of the tool protruding from the collet. I did take it slow since it was my first time machining two-sided aluminum parts this complicated. My speeds and feeds were: 800mm/min (feedrate), 400mm/min (2 degree ramp), 20mm/min (plunge), all using a 0.5mm layer depth (it's a hobbyist CNC machine). As the Speed Tiger website shows, these 1/8" bits want a high speed (~29,000rpm), which is great for router CNC'ers... I dialed my router up to its max speed of 27,000 RPM. To make the 1/8" end mill work in my router's 1/4" chuck, I bought the "Amana Tool - RB-102 High Precision Steel Router Collet Reducer 1/4 Overall Dia x 1/8 Inner". Also, to make this project a success, I bought a compressor (Quipall 2-1-SIL-AL 1 HP 2 Gallon Oil-Free Hotdog Air Compressor), and a mister nozzle (Mist Coolant Lubrication Spray System for Metal Cutting Engraving Cooling Sprayer Machine for Air Pipe CNC Lathe Milling Drill - the picture indicates: Succkey โFull Sealed Mist Sprayerโ S/N: AE 2150343). This enabled me to apply a high stream of compressed air (no lubricant or fluid was used) to keep the chips away and the aluminum cool. Both of which worked great. I am very happy with these 1/8" Speed Tiger IAUE 3-flute end mills. For another (larger aluminum) project, I bought the "SPEED TIGER IAE5 Carbide Square Nose End Mill with ZrN Coating for Aluminum Applications - 2 Flute - IAE5-1/4"2T-ZrN" -- I'll let you know how those work.

Literally, the finest Aluminum bit.
I've been milling aluminum for about 25 years and this bit will hog out aluminum faster than you will believe and leave a mirror finish. Works better than some of the name brand bits that cost $60/ea. Feed speeds that this can handle will likely surpass your machine. This bit also survived a dive crash about 1/4" into solid aluminum bar and didn't break.

Worth the price
Great endmill for the price. The tips are a bit fragile, I managed to break one moving off the part and was just a whisker too low by about .030". Other than that, they are sharp and leave a nice finish. Going to order another to replace the one I jacked up.

Excellent End Mill. Best I've used on aluminum as long as I can remember.
In the video I'm using an adaptive tool path, full depth (flutes length), about 22 in/min with an optimal load of .040". And it cuts like butter. I've probably made about 20lb of chips so far on the same cutter and it still cuts like day 1. I've used a lot of different in Mills and this one has held up much longer than all of them. Those hesitant at first because I've tried other expensive bits that fake wild claims but this is definitely my go-to for aluminum from now on. 5/5. Highly recommend

Performs great
I just used this to mill a stack of feeler gauges from being 1/2 inch wide down to 0.3 inches in width. I had to make a fixture to hold the feeler gauge stack and I had to take light cuts, but it did the job nicely. I can now use those feeler gauges in tight spots so I can select the right shim stock for other jobs. It's certainly not something you do everyday but this cutter did it just fine.

Nice bit - so far so good.
Nicely made bit, so far so good, cuts nicely. Will update if anything goes awry prematurely.. but feels heavy, sharp, nicely made.
