I am a linguist by profession and a lover of gadgets and innovations. This product appealed to all my interests when I saw it on Youtube. I saved up and now I am the proud owner of one set of this brilliant earphones. The design is very reminiscent of earpods but a little on the bulkier side but not cumbersome. The various ear adapters included in the box are very useful to achieve the perfect fit. The app is very intuitive and very easy to download from the App Store. The language options are easy to setup and, as long as the two users express themselves clearly and without pause filler sounds, the translation is quite accurate and definitely quick enough to make conversations flowing. I tried it straight out of the box with an Italian family member and I am looking forward to using it next week with friend and colleagues before genuine "field" use where my interlocutors speak a language unknown to me. All in all, money well spent!

Haven't been able to make it work under any conditions or circumstance, trust me I've tried. Living in Spain and speaking very little Spanish has been difficult. Thought this would help me talk to my new friends and neighbours but no it just takes up space in my handbag, waiting for the day that maybe one of us can figure it out. I don't consider myself to be a stupid person and I normally persevere, especially when something cost me £208 with delivery , but these little "diamonds" are a complete waste of money. I can't even use them as earbuds to play music through.

I was a bit sceptical when I ordered the WT2 Translator but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Packaging was great and the product is well designed. Start up instructions could use a little help but the YouTube video solved that pretty quickly. I tested it with several languages with colleagues and their jaws dropped when we communicated in German and Hebrew. I'm going to use it for a trip to Portugal next and look forward to making great use of the WT2s especially when I go to France.

I bought this item with skepticism.. simply because translators simply dont work for me...How wrong I was! Item came in a small crisp white box. Took out the ear pieces, had a look and then started charging them. I am not sure whether they come charged but I always like any electronic item to be fully charged before I use. I then went onto download the App...they do provide a QR code..but you can simply enter WT2 and it was first on the list..simple download and connection to the ear pieces...quick firmware update and that's it... ready to use. My wife speaks fluent German and Russian...and we were so impressed with the quality, speed and accuracy of the translation. I tried to speak in English quite fast..just to confuse the app..but it was still picking up the critical words in the sentence to create the translation....super smart! I then tried one of the Indian languages Tamil, which is my mother tongue...my wife and I spoke in my mother tongue and her mother tongue....withouth the need for English....inpressive tool indeed. 😀 This would be the perfect travel tool for both business and pleasure. It covers all the European languages and most of the Asian languages. I would suggest the team to add a few more Asian languages, like Filipino, Indonesian, Thai...but I think the company is continuously updating the language/ accent database. In summary, super product .... amazon is selling the product as part of their black Friday sale....good time to get it 😀

Nice idea. Not a very slick process when communicating. Also quite expensive for not much better than using google translate on your phone.

Good in theory but tricky to use in practice. Google translate is more versatile and easy to use.

I travel a lot for work, and I ended up in too many situations where the language was a barrier, especially in Europe. Before using WT2 plus, I used to either Google a phrase in English on the spot and praying that I have fast enough reception or the translation I don't understand made sense, or I start asking everyone around me if they know English - both very anxiety-inducing situations. Also, I tried another translator without earphone which is not convenient. So I bought this thing after I came across a viral video about it. This device does give me help when I go to Colombia this time. Translation works so well and very fast. Talking slowly and clearly helps it work really well. The playback is clear and understandable. The three modes in the app give me choices in different situations. It is really fantastically.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas having seen it on a Guy Martin program where he had a conversation with the elderly parents of one of the creators, who spoke no English. I was so impressed by the ease of use and the flow of the translated conversation. My husband was thrilled, maximum "wife points", and we continue to be impressed by the many uses it has. Apart from the one to one translation, you can use it to view foreign language media on the internet and you could also use it to learn a foreign language with a choice of 40! It is small, aesthetically pleasing with its pebble charging case and easy to use. The translation transition is smooth. Just wow! I am considering getting one myself to use in my medical clinics.

Prodotto arrivato nei termini predetti. Molto elegante esteticamente e pratico allo stesso tempo. Molto facile l’installazione dell’applicazione per l’uso e facile da inizializzare . L’ho appena ricevuto e subito provato e al primo approccio è molto utile e funziona! Ma mi riservo di scrivere un altra recensione nel caso in un breve futuro non sia più cosi. L’ho acquistato per lavoro perché avendo un attività commerciale ho a che fare con diverse persone da tutto il mondo.

Non funzionano come da descrizione, in quanto la traduzione non immediata e a volte non traduce proprio. Necessita un contatto molto ravvicinato con l’interlocutore e comunque bisogna scandire bene le parole parlando lentamente.

Avendo cambiato lavoro da poco a volte mi capita di dovermi interfacciare con persone di altre nazionalità e questo valido accessorio mi aiuta e mi risolve molte situazioni di impaccio e di imbarazzo. Compatto e facile da portare con se.

Funzionano a dovere
