It adds up over time - I haven't bought zip lock bags in years. After watching a video of a whale that washed ashore in Thailand and died after unsuccessfully trying to vomit out 17 pounds of plastic bags, I decided that I would never again accept my dry cleaning in those single use bags. Garmento bags double as a laundry sack to bring your cleaning to the dry cleaners and then convert to a hanging cover to transport them home. It's a start. I wish they had a hook for attaching a luggage ID tag and a hanger return pocket like the ones on a youtube video from Clothesline Cleaners in Idaho. I might call Idaho to see if I can get those bags. But, I plan to make my dry cleaners use these bags for me and will encourage them to transition to reusable bags for all their customers. An aside ... it was disheartening to find that Amazon packaged this unbreakable item with scads of those air-filled plastic pillows. I saw this on the show the Shark Tank and thought it was a great idea. So I ordered 2 bags and just love them. I always have one at the cleaner and one at home. This product is so well thought out. IT makes a great bag to place your laundry in and then you zip it up and it has a great strap to put over your shoulder and take to the cleaners. And one more amazing thing......NO PLASTIC WASTE when you pick up your cleaning.
