Yeah, this is a cut and paste across the the set that I purchase. Lots of useful information. Lots of useful things to practice. And like all things you want to get better at. You need to actually practice. These will help.

A good short book to help you make music on electric guitar. Like all learning products you will get most out of it, if you spend the time learning the scales in the book, and recapping to make sure you have it. Like most things guitar practice, practice, practice!!!!

As a self-taught intermediate level player, I purchased several books on scales and modalities and was having some success but the very basics were escaping me. For example, I needed a very simple explanation of the how the scale “boxes” change for each key. Sounds simple, and turns out it actually is very simple. But a half dozen books for intermediate level players contained absolutely no discussion of the very basics. I decided to take a chance on a book for “beginners” and it worked out well. Now all the intermediate level books make perfect sense. Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players who are trying to understand the basics of scales.

This book made easy work of learning scales and patterns. I play guitar for over 40 years and never learned scales. I did not realize how much I was missing out until I use this book and learned scales.

The book does a good job of presenting a systematic way of mapping out fretboard scale relationships. It presents one scale and leaves the remainder to incentivize the reader to be proactive. If you looking for more I suggest you purchase the more comprehensive book he offers first because you might find yourself at a dead end if you desire a full-blown expose of soloing.

I learned some very basic things I had forgotten. The only problem I have is that on my ereader the tabs are so small that they are hard to read. I can, but it is hard.
