Greenworks PRO 80V 2Ah Lithium Ion Battery GBA80200

Highly reliable battery. Crazy powerful. Moves upwards of 5 plus inches of heavy snow. Capable of clearing driveway and wheelchair ramp as well as path across deck to back door without recharging. Yet when depleted recharges in under 2 hours (more like 1 hour but I've not really timed it). It is so fast that I'm surprised when compared with my other rechargeable systems. 8-30-18. No change in previous but some additional comments. Look no further than Greenworks yard equipment and batteries. I am 100% satisfied with their selection and the quality of workmanship. Love the batteries - more power for mowing but limited endurance (takes more than one battery to cut one yard of approx 2,900 sq ft.) but then again I'm cheap and can only afford a 2AH version of this powerhouse. When the snow returns this battery will out perform oil and gas all day long.

I can only hope that you read this review there is a very old saying it's called The real McCoy that is exactly what this Green works battery is The real McCoy in other words the real thing I always read reviews but I bought one of those knockoff batteries that says it is 3.0 identical to this one let me tell you it's less money don't waste your money on that get this one I've had to return two of them things this is the battery you want to buy them other ones quit at 50 to 60% I've tested them both I am so impressed with this battery I bought two more for backups even the weight of this it is heavier than the knockoff battery yes this one is a few dollars more but it is worth getting extra 15 minutes of runtime it also is heavier in weight than the knockoff one that says it's designed for greenworks tools spend the extra money trust me get this one be very careful when you purchase one of these a lot of them knockoffs look a lot like this one be sure you get the Green works battery check the spelling sometimes the spelling will be off on the counterfeit battery to make it look like this one read all the customer reviews also that is very important I give this battery five stars if I could I would give it 10 Stars

not bad little batteries they do go fairly well. and when they run out of "juice" you'll know it because my machine stops dead. i bought an extra battery so i could switch and keep going. i do wish they'd go longer but that's just me. i'd buy again.

I decided a couple of years ago that I was tired with messing around with gas-powered chain saws - mixing the gas, adjusting the carburetor for high altitude and then dealing with the smoke and the noise and the fact that they can be quite finicky. I graduated to battery-powered chainsaws and have no intention of going back. Sure, the battery only lasts about 15 minutes but I have a couple of spares. If you are cutting wood for a living this won't be your answer. But, if you just cut wood for some heating and clearing out dead-fall this is the way to go.

I already have a 2.0ah Greenworks battery I got with my string trimmer for Christmas in 2020 plus a 2.5ah I got with my blower in July 2021. The 2.5ah one is a little weaker than when new - maybe runs 15 minutes instead of close to 20 on full power with the blower, which really draws the amps. The Christmas 2020 battery has not lost any power that I can tell, and ran as long as the 2.5ah did when the 2.5ah was new. I got this 2nd 2.0ah battery to rotate with the other 2 batteries to put less stress on them and to have a charged battery ready in case the other two had not been recharged yet. Greenworks tools and batteries I have are all high quality & durable. I just wish their batteries were not SOOO expensive.

Great decision

Purchased a 2nd 80Volt battery to use with my string trimmer. The battery stopped taking a charge 4 months after receiving it, it was sold with a 4yr warranty. I called Greenworks to get a warranty replacement. The Greenworks representative asked if I have been keeping the battery in a climate controlled environment when the trimmer was not in use. I told them that I kept it in my garden shed, which is covered and ventilated. Greenworks said that they required the battery to be kept in a heated and air-conditioned environment when not in use, I told them that was not what was written in their Owner's Manual; they told me that they often changed their requirements and that the new requirement was to keep it in a climate controlled environment when not in use. I asked where I could find this new requirement and they said they didn't know if it was available. When I continued to press for their written policy they informed me that they would require a video of my defective battery on the charger, and a printed copy of my Amazon Order Invoice (which I had given them verbally - and they found in their system). This is exemplary of a company that NO ONE SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH! They go out of their way to make it difficult to get warranty replacement, they cite non-existent "superceded policies" - DON'T BUY FROM GREENWORKS - THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!

Worked very well with the Greenworks snow blower. Bought it so I don’t have to wait for the first battery to charge in order to continue clearing snow (long driveway and large parking area). Has worked as intended but one thing to note is it fits ever so slightly tighter than the original battery w/ snow blower so it’s always a bit of a chore to swap it out of the machine. Patience is key.

Gives good usage time. Works in snow shovel and trimmer

Very good for my 15m long drive way, even 25cm deep snow is very easy to clean!! No need to hire a guy anymore

The battery is fine I think - what do you judge it on. It either works or it doesn't. It seems to do its job. Leaf blower seems to tax it though. ( I don't know if it is my leaf blower or this battery, but, the blower just shuts down after 5 or 10 minutes of use. click. nothing, if i come back to it in an hour it will work. But intermittently, on for a few minutes. off. on. off. so frustrating. I think its the blower - And it is the only greenworks product I've ever had issues with and I have a bunch.)
