Inspired by the magic and wisdom of Russian fairy tales, Tarot of the Golden Wheel interprets traditional tarot through the prism of colorful Slavic folk culture. In this radiant deck the Golden Wheel, a sacred symbol of karma, the sun, and the infinite cycles of life conveys the Fool on his journey through the Major and Minor Arcana.Includes 78 cards and 84-page guidebook.Mila Losenko lives in Altai Territory of Russia. She studied at the Biysk Pedagogical College with a degree in "Teacher of Fine Arts". Since 2010, she has worked as a book illustrator. The rich aesthetic of Art Nouveau is reflected in her works in the Slavic style. Watercolor is her favorite art technique. Review: Absolutely beautiful cards - This is easily one of the most beautiful decks I have found. It has excellent large cards with borderless art, a nice sturdy horizontal box and a well-made guide book which is essentially a mini book rather than cheap stapled paper. The cards and smooth with a matte finish, but the artwork is very vibrant and bright. The color and detail of nearly every card is truly impressive. The love the artist has for Eastern European style is obvious, as she is never content to repeat anything to to skimp on the intricate details, and it really helps this deck to stand apart. Her use of color makes every card stand out and evoke something unique. Despite following Rider-Waite-Smith closely, the distinctive theme of this deck and the artist's exceptional talent and dedication to detail give it a feeling all its own. In terms of sheer beauty, you'll be hard-pressed to do better, and I think there are more than a few cards that could contend for being the among the finest representations of a card out there. The backing is perfect and they chose a nice font as well. The lone defect with this deck that comes to mind is that the book, though it starts out really well (I really liked how they did the major arcana), clearly was not gone over with much concern or attention once you get to the minor arcana where the writing, at times, slips into the usual outrageous and offensively unedited text that is so common in tarot booklets. It definitely does not detract from the deck itself and there is still some decent insight in the minor cards. Review: Beautiful images, sturdy construction, great energy - I was looking for a new tarot deck to reflect a more balanced world-view than I get from Rider-Waite but I didn't want to go way into left field. Then I saw this deck. The idea of cards based on Slavic folk-tales appealed to me as my paternal grandmother's family was from the Romania/Hungary area of the world. When I got this deck, I was very pleased with it. The cards are just big enough and thick enough to feel as if they will last, while being easy enough to shuffle. The images on the cards are magnificent, with bold colors that also integrate with each other. There is not a single card that I found fault with. I have already started doing personal readings with it and I have been very pleased with the energy I get from the images. Would highly recommend this deck for anyone who is looking for something not exactly white-European-Male focused but also not too abstract.

Mind-blowing
When I saw these cards I went "oh my gooood, they're so beautiful" and feel that way every time I see them. I'm amazed at the beauty and quality of the illustration, the vibrancy of the colors, the dynamic and emotional gestures and characters... This is very much a style I love, full of life and a romantic attitude. Even more incredible is how little I've seen people talk about this deck (though perhaps I'm simply not running in the right circles). I don't know anything about Russian mythology and the primary system I'm learning is not the Rider-Waite, but even so, I got this deck thinking that it's approachable and attractive enough to use for readings for others. The cardstock isn't super thick, but seems sturdy enough. Also, the box is gorgeous, strong, and easy enough to get in and out of that I don't think the deck needs to be moved to any other container - it's fine as it is. The booklet it comes with is bound well; it looks like an actual tiny little book. The whole package is impressive. Plus, the price is very reasonable and worth it to support the artist. Would recommend to anyone.

Buy it, you won’t regret it, trust me.
This deck stole my heart ❤️. It is beyond beautiful,it’s true amazing. I can’t believe, it is only $16 !!! It “GOLDEN”for the money. The art alone can put the deck to $30 range!! So happy, I purchased it. NO Regrets whatsoever the best $16 I ever spend.I truly don’t know why this deck is not on the top seller list and not getting enough love 😔 !!!! I have been using it for couple months. It became my favorite to go to deck.I decided to purchase extra back copy ( yes I am one of those people, however I only purchases decks that I cannot do without which handful). I have the Tarot Mucha,Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot and Art Nouveau Lenormand Oracle (I compared sizes in picture) I will put this deck above them all. Not only for the beautiful art but the guide book, too. Most deck will just throw LWB with deck with no details... This deck actually have useful guide book that point out some details which make it excellent for beginner who love art nouveau and want something different that usually. For me one of the many reasons I chose this deck is artes did great job drawing all of these characters/ people in the cards. They all look natural and beautiful. Very balanced. Finally Handsome kings to match the queens. It an amazing balance. I got so many compliments about this deck and how easy on the eyes. I can’t say enough how beautiful those cards are. I really cannot think of any card that I don’t like. The High Priestess is my favorite cards. The courts cards are so beautiful. I only can pray and hope that US Games or the Artist will create oracle deck and lenormand deck to go with this gorgeous deck... I can only hope Here is some Info about the quality of the deck: The Art:Art Nouveau and it is well done job, fantastic work. It is Borderless, thank goodness. However,it has the copyright on the back of each card. I understand why but I wish they didn’t. size:I really love the size of those cards, I took Picture of them side by side with my other cards to show the difference. The box :I want all my deck come with kind of box, it is fantastic and I love it. I wish it has ribbon to help get the cards ( I added ribbon to mine) The cards Quality :the cards are good quality flexible usually US games cards. Very similar Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot. I dislike white edges so,I gilded my deck with Gold

Great child appropriate deck
I really love this deck, I have been working with it more than any of my other newer decks. I normally don't see much value in the little guidebooks, but this one is an exception! The guidebook discusses the Slavic fairytales the deck is based on and is actually an interesting read consisting of more than just your basic card meanings for the Major Arcana. I love the concept of the deck itself. It really appeals to me as someone of Slavic descent and a fan of fairytales. The deck itself is stunning, with beautiful, vibrant colors. I feel this deck would be excellent for beginners as it seems pretty easy to interpret based on the symbolism chosen by the artist. Should work great with any Tarot 101 book as it follows the RWS system fairly well without being a total clone. An added bonus! It is so hard to find kid appropriate decks, so many decks can have disturbing or inappropriate symbolism for younger kids (The Devil, The Tower, 10 of Swords, Death, etc). Surprisingly, I did not see anything disturbing or graphic in this deck. Despite being "kid safe" the artist still did an excellent job of sticking true to the cards original intent without the (possibly) disturbing or graphic imagery of traditional decks. Highly recommended for beginners, those who love fairytales, someone who wants a bright and colorful deck, or young readers. Comes in a very sturdy and beautiful 2 part box.

Lovely! Gorgeous Artistry & Great Deck!
Oh my! These are so beautiful! Card stock is solid and they shuffle wonderfully! Art work is just gorgeous - romantic Russian themed masterpieces in every card! I bought these after reading all the positive reviews and I was not sorry even before opening the box! The front of box is so vibrant color and soft in texture, I was immediately smiling! And the description for each card differs from the traditional Rider-Waite deck but they still are amazing! The definitions have more depth that have actually that helped me (a reader for 40 years) dive deeper still. I appreciate that. Do yourself a favor, grab this beautiful deck!

Beautiful Tarot Deck
This is a glorious deck in the RWS tradition. I pre-ordered the deck quite awhile ago, and was excited to see it in my mailbox. The images are from times past, calm and detailed. The colors are soft and the cards are easy to read. Pentacles are renamed "Wheels." I removed a star because the cards are a bit thick and stiff. I do believe they will break in easily with use, however. The enclosed booklet is way better than a "little white book" and has quite a bit of excellent information to assist in reading with this particular deck for beginners and experts alike. All in all I am very pleased with this deck.

An art piece on each card. Fantastic!
Amazing waterbrush artwork on each card. Each card is a feist for your eyes. A few cards are not Rider Wait based, they are based on Slavic Folkclore, so it might be harder to interpret for beginners a few cards on each suit, but with the handy booklet it should solve any confusions. I ve been reading for over 10 years and a collector of tarot decks, so I do appreciate slight variances on cards to refresh my readings. The faces on each card are gorgeous, handsome men and beautiful women depicting so much emotion that correlates to the meaning of each card. What a handsome Hermit for God sakes! The colors are sooo vibrant and beautifully contrasting. All tarot readers should have this deck in their collection. The details on the embroidery of their garments, shows, jewelry, the eyes of the people and their gaze, the energy and movement of each card, plus the actual depth of each location and scene makes you feel like you are right inside each card. This is a joy just to look at and mediate upon each and every single card. I am in loooove.

Love it! Beautiful images, good reading deck
I watched a lot of walkthroughs and reviews before ordering this deck. I'm a collector and longtime reader with a preference for art done by hand (as opposed to computer generated images). I already knew from what I'd seen online that I would like this deck, but I didn't know I would love it! It has quickly become one of my favourites and lately usually the first I reach for. I have some familial links to Slavic culture so really enjoy that aspect of the art, but wish there were a bit more detail on significant cultural symbols and such in the book. That said, the book is not bad. I tend to read intuitively anyway and it is very easy to do so with these cards. The art and colour scheme are gorgeous. The overall vibe is warm, while keeping with the traditional meanings (the three of swords is still the three if swords, if you know what I mean). Overall a really lovely deck and would make an excellent addition to nearly any reader's collection.

Everything is great
The quality of printout image, the design, the size and finish of the card, the energy is light with this deck pretty much summer breezy feeling, just everything about the card is perfect. If feels great on hands, you might use this deck more often than your other decks for the sake. The only thing is that I don't connect to the art as much as I thought I would do though the image is absolutely beautiful in my eyes. However, when it comes to energy and connection it is really differs to each individual. Hope it helps to your decision making. I absolutely love the guide booklet comes with the deck. Clear and inspiring elaboration and you don't need a formal guidebook in my opinion in you already got this deck.
