It has been with us for many years and remains one of the coolest camera / laptop backpacks available today. This is an ordinary looking backpack with dual compartments that is designed to look less like a camera bag and more like a casual backpack for security purposes. The top compartment is for personal stuff and the bottom back side compartment is for camera gear. A Velcro divider holds the floor between the upper and lower compartments and is removable so that the backpack can be used for everyday casual use. The camera compartment is hidden in the back side and is capable of holding a DSLR with 24-70mm f/2.8 attached, plus 1-2 additional lenses and a flash. The Velcro holds the floor of the top compartment in place, so that it may be removed along with the camera compartment should you wish to use it as a daypack without carrying photographic equipment. It features 2 Velcro front pockets for quick access to accessories, 1 front zippered pocket with internal organizers, mesh pockets, a dedicated padded zippered pocket for an iPad-sized tablet and zippered padded compartment to hold a 17" widescreen laptop. There is a lined zippered pocket inside and a media player pocket. It also includes a seam sealed rain cover. This one fit the bill based on it's description, and I can say I am not disappointed. I wanted a pack I could use as a carry on for my camera, and be able to carry other items I might need on the plane. Plus use it for my camera pack on my adventures. I have not actually used it yet, but have done an in home test run. The pack is made very nice, really nice workmanship. The hip straps do not tuck into the backpack. Overall it is a great bag for a hike up into the mountains or around a lake but I recieved it in poor condition. It was in a plastic bag right out of the box but it had been used and had spots of old food and stains on it.
