I want to use it to build a vocal booth using heavy sound dampening blankets.** A: This is exactly what I bought it for. It seems to be working fine so far, the frame seems pretty sturdy. However, I am using four shipping blankets that probably weight around 15 lbs. together. Seems like it could hold at least a bit more but maybe not super heavy blankets, 30 lbs. not sure but possibly. I use spring clamps to attach the blankets to the frame.
