After a literal lifetime of dealing with rashes and breakouts -- and not always in the most desirable places -- I finally had my dermatologist culture a rash within a skin fold. It turns out I didn't have psoriasis or jock itch; I have "contact dermatitis" triggered by fragrances and additives nearly omnipresent in skincare and household products alike (even those that are legitimately "natural" and sold as such at natural foods stores). I was told to change everything I used to clean, scent, and manage myself -- soaps, hair products, moisturizers, all of it. In the shower, this Vanicream cleansing bar is my daily bread and butter. I also use their shampoo, conditioner, antiperspirant, moisturizing cream, lotion, and liquid cleanser. These products have changed my life, and the creamy and luxurious cleansing bar leaves my body clean and moisturized. While once beset by rashes that could tear me open, I'm now rash-free, with my only "cheats" being rare uses of cologne when my confidence requires I smell like something other than nothing (my body forgives their use in those ultra-sporadic moments and gratefully doesn't rash up). My Aunt recommended this to me 30 years ago and it’s the best for cleansing dry Irish skin / followed by moisturizer while skin is still damp.

I have used this soap for years. It was recommended by several doctors as the least likely to cause an allergic reaction/sensitivity for contact allergies I have. IT WORKS. It is really the only soap I have found that causes no problems at all for me. There is no added fragrance and the natural scent of the product is not strong and not bad. It is very very mild in all ways and bonus--it lathers well even in hard water. I don't know what I would do without it. Nothings works as well. It's not overly drying (although their lotions and creams for moisturizing are fantastic!). It cleans too.

Only soap that works for my super sensitive skin

This is a very good soap for somebody who has eczema! It doesn't have any fragrances or dyes, lasts long and doesn't dry out my skin. Totally would recommend!

Vanicream bar soap is great for sensitive skin. It’s a bit pricey but each bar lasts a long time. Several of the individual soap boxes were completely smushed in the shipping process.

Doesn’t contain glycerin so it’s safer to use near lady bits. Have never gotten a YI while using.

I did like washing with this bar but unfortunately, it had rather an acid smell and had to throw it out.

This is a great soap for sensitive skin. The price has climbed too much and it is now costly. But, still a great product.
