Update 3-23-20: Wife was walking dog and had her harnessed on front and back. The stitches ripped out on front D-rings allowing for the dog to run free and causing her to almost get hit by a car. Utilizing the back D ring put her out on her run that stitching immediately came lose first time she put any pressure on it. We loved the best and were lucky our dig was not injured. The buckles may be strong but if the stitching doesnt hold it makes no difference. We have purchased 10 harnesses over the years for our Shepards. It's hard finding on that fits comfortably, can't escape from, has no pull ring in front, velcro to apply patches, and durability. Graysee as you see pictures actually enjoys wearing the harness even while hanging out around the house! It is easy to adjust and doesnt rub her on long outdoor excursions. When we rescued her she had never even been on a leash at almost 2 years old and never played with toys. We have dozens of cats, squirrels, and car traffic in our neighborhood. Safety was our number 1 concern. Her habit of darting towards animals and pulling during training made a no pull ring a must. We wanted to make sure the harness was durable and not going to snap when she jerked and lunged. We also wanted to make sure she was unable to slip out or escape. This harness/vest exceeded all of our expectations. Its comfortable and secures her nicely. It also adds support down her back and doesnt bunch up like our harnesses in the past. The stitching looks very good and looks to be very well made. If you are looking for the perfect all around harness with all the features, this is the one to purchase.

Perfect for my needs! My old hound needs help with the stairs and loading into my truck. This product is by far superior to other harnesses that "are designed for lifting". It is easy to put on and can be done while your pet is standing or sitting, no need to lift a leg and put it through a loop. It is well made. The materials feel durable. the stitching is tight. The straps a strong. The clips for the chest piece are made of metal they fasten securely they handle the weight of my 90 lb dog as we go down the stairs no problem, I have no worries about them breaking. The belly band is secured with a wide band of velcro on each side and 2 nylon straps wrap around the outside of them secured by plastic clips. ( I was initially put off by the plastic clips, but have since discovered that the velcro alone stays secure even when my dog is fully lifted off of the ground. ) The three handles are very securely fastened and handle his weight. It is comfortable. I like the full band that wraps around his rib cage, it distributes his weight evenly across his bone structure rather than the soft under belly. He doesn't groan or appear stressed when I lift him. The chest piece also rides across his bone structure rather than his neck. The belly band is out of the way so, when he does his business it does not get soiled. This product has made both of our lives much easier. I only out weigh my dog by about 30 lbs, and I am not a spring chicken any more. But I am able to load him into and out of my truck, help him up the stairs and keep him from tumbling down them.

for 55$ this is a solid vest. I was looking for a very specific vest and this one definitely fit every little thing i was looking for. 3 d rings to clip into, metal clips, 3 different handles to pick up my 65lb husky/GSD mix, mollie system and velco for attaching service patches and pouches, understrap for comfort when the dog is being lifted by the handles and a coyote color for that real rugged look. I have used this several times and have picked my 65lb 4 year pup up multiple times and no stitching, SO FAR, has come undone or even shown signs of fraying or coming undone. He looks great in it but does tend to get quite warm while wearing it so i have been looking for a way to combat that. But all in all so far this has been a positive experience nd rest assure i will update in the coming months if something becomes defective.

AMAZING quality! I purchased to feel safer about taking my dog on long hikes. If she got hurt, I wanted a harness that would be sturdy and comfortable enough for me to carry/hoist her if I had to. We got a size Large, and she is a husky sized dog so she could probably wear either size. She NEVER lets anyone pick her up, however after putting this on, she let me wrap my arm under her back legs and hold the upper handle and comfortably hung in my arms! Heavy duty velcro, buckles and D-Rings. Only down side is there isnt any way to attach all 3 bags it comes with at the same time, but it does fit 2 at a time, and it's nice to have options. Deffinantly worth the money!

I have an older dog who is losing strength in his back legs and collapses often, so was looking for a way to help him go up stairs, pick him up when he falls, and support his back end if he becomes weak on walks. Tried a belly sling (which isn't all that helpful if he falls because you can't wrap it around him when he's on the ground) and another leg support vest, but it didn't fit very well and wasn't much to it. This might not be intended as a support harness, but it is perfect for it. There are multiple handles to grab on top, front and rear metal leash attachments, and securely wraps around the belly with velcro and 2 nylon straps with secure clip buckles. On walks, I can attach a leash to the front and back attachments and basically carry much of his weight with the 2 leashes, if needed. Otherwise, I just use the front until rear support is needed. Very happy with everything about this harness. The attachment packs that come with it aren't really useful to me... and wish they offered a slightly cheaper version without them, so you could choose whether you want those or not. Either way, a great harness for older or injured dogs.

I love everything about this vest. My dog is only 65 lbs and it fit perfectly. The only thing I’m supper bummed about is I can’t find anywhere to buy the pouches. One fell off in a night run and it was the one that carried the poop bags.

My son's dog feels comfortable and looks very nice like a soldier's one. I am happy with this purchase.

I like the fact that it wraps completely around my dog which settles him down. The handles are great to pick him up without hurting him

It may be sturdy, but the stitching isn't. The rear leash hook broke off practically instantly after one pull from a 65 lb dog. This is only suitable for small dogs. Think tactical chihuahua. Big dogs will break off leash. It fit my dog well. A 65lb lab cross. He doesn't like putting it on but he's happy to go out with it. Can run unimpeded Molle pouches fall off if dog runs, get better ones.
