A little goes a LONG way with this baby, and it is very full coverage. I bought the larger container because I thought I would burn through it, but after two uses I have barely even scrapped the top. And yes, this makeup feels heavy and gross, so if you can't commit to the costume-- don't do it. I will say, application with a blending brush is so much better than using a beauty sponge (mine disintegrated into the makeup tub and I had to scrape it off). And yes, if you want to wear this, you need to PACK ON THAT POWDER. Otherwise it transfers like crazy. The first wear, I wore it to a Halloween party and every single person I hugged had white on their costumes (sorry). So the second wear (on Halloween at work), I applied enough powder for it not to transfer, and it held it in place nicely. Not only does this makeup transfer without properly setting it with translucent powder, but it also creases so bad. This clown makeup works very well. Stays put and does not smudge. If you want it to last long, just use white face powder over it or translucent powder on it and it will stay on all night. 😉 Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend. Will buy again. Made my makeup look extra creepy. Got tons of compliments and gave a lot of people clown phobia. LOL 😂

I was surprised at the quality of this product. It was fairly easy to blend, it looks pretty even. I needed this because my friend wanted me to do makeup for a clown film he was producing, as I have a little bit of experience with makeup artistry. I also was in the film, so I can firsthand tell you the makeup is non-irritating and lightweight. The tub will also last you a good while, I did makeup for probably 20-25 people total over the course of the film with most having an entire white base on their face, and several cast members had their makeup done 3-4 times for multiple shoots. I still have approximately 3/4 of the container left for any future projects, so it’s definitely good value. My only complaint is that it’s not overly water or sweat resistant. One scene was shot outside in light rain and heavy humidity, and it started to smear and run some then.

We've painted our faces, in the past, for various parties, holidays, and running events, but usually used the cheap face paint from the party store. Those paints often ran with sweat and caused breakouts on my girlfriend's sensitive skin (her skin is quite fair, and mine is quite oily, so we're a bit of a challenge when ti comes to face makeup.) We chose this paint because it seemed to have good reviews overall and the ingredients indicated it was lead free (Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Beeswax, Ozokerite, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Lanolin, Titanium Dioxide (main white color), Talc.) It wasn't the cheapest, but it seemed to be used by a lot of professionals and that was good enough for us. This paint goes on light and even- for anyone who hasn't done a full face paint, especially with white, before- be patient, layer it on, it will blend beautifully. You will want to pick up a finishing powder here on Amazon to dust your final application with to help prevent bleeds and sweat throughs, especially if you plan on putting colors over it. It will feel tacky upon first application but dries quite smooth in about 20 minutes. For those worried about the 2 oz, it goes very far- we have done 5 full face applications (and most covered the neck and chest) and it is still about half full. We've worn the makeup for up to 7 hours on end with no allergic or sensitive skin issues and couldn't be more thrilled, we will be buying more for our upcoming 5ks this fall! ****Best tip use Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes, one wipe removes half a face of full makeup and is very gentle on skin!

I have incredibly sensitive skin, so I'm incredibly apprehensive when I buy makeup... This stuff rocks! I've had no issues with rashes, I barely feel it when it's on, but it still has INCREDIBLE coverage. Lasted all day at cons with little to no issues! Super phenominal stuff.

So as a makeup loving clownie I have to say this is one of the better options for white out there, for the price I paid 5 stars, there are a couple things I will mention though, the way this product works (if you want the application to be smooth) is by building upon layers, you can't just smear it on in a big thick Heap and expect it to look good, start light, and apply more layers as needed. The only other thing besides that is how it wears throughout the day, on its own it will stay a bit sticky or oily throughout the day, to combat this you will need to use a translucent or white setting powder, to make sure your work stays in place. Before I get to my final thoughts though I'll mention one thing, if you have a skin condition this may not be for you, if you're having an active flare up or patches of eczema like I do I would suggest not using it on those parts of skin or waiting for your flare up to subside before using this product. On an ending note this product is fantastic for the price I paid for it, not that there aren't better products out there but if you're just starting out, or looking for a budget white base product, this is the way to go.

I've used this clown cream numerous times now for my Joker makeup/costume. I find it very easy to apply and it holds very well. I wear it on nights out for 6-8 hours and it doesn't come off with sweat. Really easy to take off too. You get so much for your money's worth as you only need to use a very small amount to get good coverage over your entire face/ears/neck. Overall just very impressed. Thanks for reading.
