Works with 2008 Mercedes E350
I have a 2008 Mercedes-Benz with the 30 pin iPod adapter. I bought an Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter, which would let me use a newer iPhone/iPod with the factory stereo. Unfortunately, while the music worked, the phone did not charge. This little device solved that problem. I placed it between the 30-pin car adapter and the Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter and now the phone charges while playing music.

Poor design
The device connection is loose and the depth of the metal plug too short to engage correctly. The micro usb charging port fails to charge consistently. I would return the unit but cannot because I removed some of the plastic around the metal plug hoping deeper engagement would resolve the connection and charging issues. After my mod the connection is improved but still not great and the inconsistent charging is still an issue. After compressing the tip with pliers to increase contact pressure the device stays connected better and charges, albeit at a slow rate. If the device came to me as it now is after my mods is I would have rated it a 3 because at least now it minimally functions for what I need.

💪 works
Worked perfectly with my bovee1000. Some cars need this others don't. Glad it's available

It Works
Worked great to give my 2008 Infiniti blue tooth capability. Only issue I have is that when I want to listen to the radio it goes back to the blue tooth device.

Worked for a little while
Performed as intended for a few weeks, then stopped working. Connectors do not click in place which may be part of the problem. Also did not work after a Siri command. The in-dash integration with my 2010 XTerra was clunky at best, so I decided a lightning splitter with power and aux cable inputs [Belkin Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable + Audio Charger Splitter] was a better option.

Works perfectly!
I have a 2008 Mercedes e350 with a 30 pin AUX connector in the glove box. I wanted to connect a new blue tooth device to it, but it required power, so this unit was essential. Now I can stream Amazon Prime music from my iPhone 11 through my car’s AUX!

Product quality is reduced by a lot. Not as good as years ago
Product wasn’t new the bag already opened. The connection isn’t great my left speaker wasn’t working right and this device have to be tilted slightly up for both speaker to work as it should. Something is definitely wrong with the connector part. The first one when I bought this years ago was great so I guess the quality overtime just degrades down low.
