In metric 14 mm outside Diameter The plating may have added several thousands to the pre plating diameter. I cannot see enough of the threading into the body to tell the thread size, but suspect it is metric probably made in China. Don't know if those are sold at HD. This means in a small ditty bag attached to the head-end of a size R (R as in Romeo) oxygen tank, probably spun steel instead of mushy aluminium alloy. The CGA 540 nipple material is brass, chromium-plated on the exterior panels to make for a spiffy cleaned appearance. Compared to let's say a Vic', the regulating body is more compact and streamlined.
