Great to hold open baby gate
I actually used this to hold a baby gate open and flush to the wall when desired but it worked perfectly for that!

Perfect for my application
I needed a way to hang my hammock between pergola posts without straps. I didn’t want an eye bolt so This fit the bill.

Get different bolts.
Get your own lag bolts. The ones in my kit were bent. I still used them but only because I didnt have any the right size handy, it was a headache. The steel ring gets in the way when you are tightening the bolts and its a pain. But once you get it mounted its outstanding. Super stable and it looks good, the finish on the ring and bracket are great. I would buy it again, but id swing by the hardware store first. I'm using this to hang a homemade TRX from a structural beam in the basement. Its "working out" great.
