Magic Makers Ultimate Gaff Deck Card Tricks - Special Printed Bicycle Cards

This is a review for the Ultimate Gaff Deck from magicmakers.inc. It came as described. It has the diamonds-you owe money-trick, McDonald's Aces, and the 3 card monte where you look for the Ace. It is excellent. There was problem with receiving my product and I emailed the seller and he immediately responded. He had the product re-sent and I was so happy to receive such great customer service. Rob Stiff also sent me a hand written card and 2 freebies. Maybe not the “ultimate” gaff deck but it sure has a lot of tricks you can easily learn. The guide has thirteen tricks you can master with a bit of practice and once you get a little proficient with them you can try some nice variations and even find some others to try by searching on YouTube. The deck is professional and perfectly made. For the full range of tricks you’ll need additional matching red and blue Bicycle poker decks. The video that comes with the deck is sort of okay but the instructor should have done a few rehearsals before making the video. (He reminds me of my Uncle George who would break out his magic card deck after Thanksgiving dinner.)

This is a great gaff deck. There are also many tricks that are taught with the video access. ThE tricks are great and technically the explanations are good. The problem is that there is no actual performance. A performance with patter helps you see the effect. This video just shows you how to do the trick not how to perform it. It is kind of splitting hairs, but after watching these, I went online to find people performing it.

This is a great deck for the serious card magician.

A beginner could use the cards, but a solid amateur/pro can create miracles. The funky names are a bit tedious, the teaching is adequate, the price is a bit high, but if you use 3 of the effects you're good for value. Plus, there are some effects where multiple gaffs are included - a nice touch. If you're willing to put in the time definitely invest.

The deck is great, the instructional video was horrible. It will leave you saying huh way too many times. My 6 year old daughter would do a better job. He stumbles over his words, it’s clearly not rehearsed and most definitely all done with one take.
