Review: Works great - Update: parked the 4Runner outside for a few months in the summer and the mirror fell off. Not while driving. Just sitting there. And it got to maybe 85 outside. Pretty annoyed. Followed the directions but some tape on it to hold it in place and left it there for 24 hours. Rock solid, although I'm sure it helps that I don't live in a hot-ass climate.
Review: Do NOT use too much. Trick is to use a single drop of the glue. - This definitely does work great, BUT you have to do the prep work CORRECTLY. I was initially disappointed, but then I called the 800 number on the package. They gave the clue, most of which in in the review by Leanne; but it boils down to careful cleaning of the windshield and DO NOT USE TOO MUCH glue. In fact they will tell you that you want a single drop on the center of the metal tab. Seemed unlikely but that was the secret. Clean a lot, use a very little glue.

**Q: Will this adhesive work to glue on acrylic windshield, gluing a rubber mount to it?**

**Q: Does the package indicate shelf life? Glue is worthless beyond its shelf life. We could be buying 10-year old glue.**
A: Don't still have the package so don't know if it indicates shelf. However, for what it's worth, my mirror has already come off after using this product. Car sits outside so don't know if heat was a factor or if adhesive was out of date.

**Q: I need to RE-attach a suction cup to my windshield for my phone holder/charger- will this work? Rubber to glass?**
A: Unfortunately the 3M Rearview Mirror Adhesive, 08752 will not work to bond rubber to glass.  The adhesive is designed for bonding metal rear view mirror buttons to the factory location.  We suggest you contact the phone charger manufacturer for a suggestion.

**Q: Bond Plastic to glass**
A: Didn’t bond the mirror well. It only stayed on for a few days.

### ⭐ Craft Glue Will Work Better Than This

I have been an Amazon Prime member from the very beginning and this is the first time I have to write a review like this one. When the package arrived, I thought it was an e-bay delivery with A home made envelope. No biggie, we are in a pandemic. But here is all you need to know about the product: the glue you buy for your school supplies will work better that this worthless product. I followed the instructions step by step, and this is not the first rear view mirror I’ve had to glue back on a windshield, and the stupid thing simply would not stick. You have been warned, this product simply does not work as in not work at all. And, alas, the return policy does not allow you to ask for a refund or a replacement. If you buy it it will be akin to handing a donation because there is nothing you can do with it. I cannot believe Amazon sold this to me as a dear view mirror adhesive.
