only 4 stars, its easy to use, and saves me lots of time now, i used to give each piece a batter dip and then put on a place with breading and flip and cover, each individual piece done one by one, now i can do a whole pack or 2 of chicken at the same time, its so much more convenient, cleanup is easy too, except the grill part, sometimes that is not so easy, but thats to be expected. the only issue is the lid, its hard to secure the lid, and you have to be careful and make sure its secured because sometimes it looks like it is but its not.

I got this after my husbands ancient one finally bit the dust. No leaking or batter gets out while shaking and it’s extremely durable and well made. Would be a great Father’s Day gift!

I had something similar that was larger and round years ago that worked great. I tried to find one again and ran across this one. I am not sure if maybe mine is defective. I had tossed the packaging as I did not plan to return it. Now I wish I had kept it to return for a replacement. Here is why: The lid does not want to snap fully to the bottom. It seems to be closed but I soon found out it was not totally sealed as flour went flying out. Ok, maybe human error so this time I went all around and pushed down as hard as I could. Still not fully sealed. I ended up holding it as tight as I could and doing a gentle shake. I still lost some flour but not the mess I had. Since this is plastic I am wondering if maybe something warped. As for cleaning, I think maybe it depends on what you are using. It was my first time using it. I was only using flour, not bread crumbs or cornmeal. As we all know what happens when flour and water get together. The shaker screen was difficult to get cleaned. A lot of scrubbing into those little nooks and crannies. The bowl was easier but still had problems near the top where the lid should snap down. The lid was easy. Can this go into a dishwasher? I did not know so I did not want to risk it warping even more. Since I can't return for an exchange I will keep and use the bowl for bread by hand since it's deep enough, but not why I purchased it. Be sure to check that yours will fully close. Be sure to push down, it may look closed but mine didnt full seal/snap onto the bottom. Check before you toss the packaging.

Used it to make fried catfish and wow awesome way to get the meat covered in seasoning and breading ready to be fried no mess clean hands and feels durable. Great product for the cost would recommend!

Item received on time but was broken/damage into two pieces. That is handle of the product was separate out broken inside the package.

I just received this and have not had a chance to try it out. I can tell you it is very well made. I read a few reviews that said the top does not fit well and that is not the case with the one I got. The top fits very tightly like a Tupperware seal. It is really big so I will be able to dredge my chicken bites in a large batch which will be a time saver. It also looks like it will be an easy clean up. The tip before dredging is to make sure your meat is not too wet, just wet enough for dredging to stick onto meat. I would recommend this product.
