Unlike many similar products, this one is smooth and tastes sublime and does not have the grainy texture of cheaper versions. You need to stir it as the oil and paste separate out naturally, but it retains its texture even after being open for a while. I’ve spoken to shopkeepers in Tel Aviv who really rate this as a quality local product. It works well for making hummus but actually its real beauty is its natural flavour; mix it with some small steamed cauliflower florets and a handful of almonds or pine nuts and serve it in a flatbread with fresh salads. Gorgeous. Pairs well with focaccia if you want to mix up your Italian and and Levantine cuisine. I always have some in the store cupboard and sometimes eat it in straight from the tub like ice cream!

Great value for money, Tastes better than other tahini pastes, doesn't (fail)?

I like the flavour of this Tahini, no bitterness just nutty sesame taste but far too runny for spreading and I use it in place of butter a lot of the time- runs through the holes in my sourdough! Great for hummous though.

for YEARS i've been trying to buy palestinian tahini, while getting stuck with Al Nakhil or another lebanese made-for-export brand, but this stuff is the real deal, much smoother, less bitter, same great taste, 100% would recommend over any tahini you can buy at the shops.

I have tried many tahini's and I make my own hummus and many other dishes with tahini. this one has the right consistency and amazing flavour. anyone that tell you otherwise doesn't know much about tahini

Perfect and original

This is produced in Israel. The taste is bland and very runny, I suspect seed oil is added to the mix.

I found this very runny even after a good stir, though was a nice taste. I previously bought the Achva one which I will buy again in future rather than this brand.
