All metal construction nice ratchet
Nice solid construction and is all metal. The toggle for direction looks like plastic but is actually alloy and painted black, possible powder coated as it is a tough finish. Like my 3/8 ratchet has been assembled dry with only slight evidence of oil at one point. So, would benefit from being dismantled and being greased or oiled. Only do this if you are confident in to doing so and not losing the little springs. Otherwise just oil around the drive and let it soak into the inside. It is well made and has a nice ratchet feel. It is much better than the 1/4" ratchet I am replacing which has failed on me. In my view at this price point you will not get a better ratchet and is better than some more expensive ones.
