Tiffen 37BPM18 37mm Black Pro-Mist 1/8 Camera Lens Filter

I picked this up for my Fujifilm X100V, mainly to add a touch of character to both stills and video—and it’s quickly become a permanent fixture. The 1/8 strength is the sweet spot: just enough of that dreamy halation around highlights to give things a cinematic edge, without muddying the overall image. Bought this filter for my 35mm prime lens. The mist gives your photos character! 1st and 2nd photo is without vs with filter. Perfect to use under harsh light conditions, also nice in low light but just up the exposure!

The Tiffen pro-mists are amazing. The halation looks better than the K&F concepts and no coatings adds sun glares to the shot to make it more artistic. Also the 1/4 Tiffen is the strength of the 1/8 K&F so if you dont want too much halation get the Tiffen 1/8 for a more subtle effect that you can use in more shots. I have both the Tiffen 1/4 & 1/8 and they are really good. Also, one of mine came with the glass rattling around a bit, if you get that on the black side of the inside of the front facing of the filter there is a small hole you can use to tighten the metal supporting the glass. Watch a Youtube video. It is common for that to happen with filters over time and it does not mean your filter is damaged!

Provides a dreamy, filter vibe but you would still need to edit.

Great filter. I bought it for my 23mm lens on my Fuji X-Pro 1. Makes my photos look so great. My only gripe is the way it’s packaged. The case was fine but when I opened it the filter was just sliding around with no protection. Luckily it didn’t get scratched.

Love this filter, it's a permanent fix on my lens. Gives a nice and subtle effect, just be careful with any mist filter where there's direct light as it can soften up the image a lot. Good value for money even though it's a bit more expensive but I've dropped it a lot and it holds up!

Didn’t expect anything less from Tiffen. Excellent quality filter, great results. Highly recommended.
