This is the second of these water bottles I have purchased. They are good value, very well made, and are up for any rough handling from my boys. They are a good fit for my Guinea boys in regard to the amount of water that the bottle holds and also the size of the nozzle, making it easy for the boys to access water. The great thing for me is that there are NO DRIPS. As the information states ,after every refill tap the metal ball at the tip of the nozzle until you see water being released and then it’s good to go.

Absolutely brilliant. No leaks and it's so much easier to fill up. Just clip off refill. No fiddling around with I'm doing wires etc

BEST AVAILABLE. IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT MANY DIFFERENT DESIGNS OF WATER BOTTLES FOR MY PIGGIES. None of them beat this. It’s so sensibly designed. Neat and can fit in different ways on cages. Like all it does drip a bit but nothing like the others I’ve bought.

I've had to edit my previous review as I'm finding these bottles do eventually begin to drip. I don't know if it's because one of our guinea pigs drinks in a way that rattles the ball hard, but I'm afraid no matter how many of these I order, the same happens - as it does with other bottles that claim to be 'leak-proof'. I don't think the a bottle with the ball in a pipe system can ever be leak free - if it does exist, I haven't found it yet, after years of keeping guinea pigs. That applies to Los Andes bottles too, good though they are. To be fair, both types are far more leak proof than those standard water bottles that clip on with a white wire loop - they are hopeless! The best answer I have found to the problem of wet guinea pig bedding from dripping water bottles, is a 4 inch wide glass ashtray placed beneath. It's heavy enough for the guinea pigs to stand on the edge to reach the nozzle whilst catching those pesky drips that soak their bedding. A firm surface beneath helps, if possible. See photo

Brought this bottle because its recommended it don’t leak but all it does is leak. Literally soaks everything, quite disappointing and I don't use it anymore annoyingly. The cheap classic bottle from pet store is more effective.

Bought a bottle in December 2021 for my guinea pig and bottle is now starting to drip badly. It can lose approx 100-150ml in a day through dripping. I've removed the nozzle to clean it out properly. There are two steel balls inside the nozzle. The metal seat where the steel ball contact's must be worn causing it to drip. A soft rubber seat would prevent it from dripping. Perhaps they can design this into the next revision of bottle. Great when it wasn't dripping. Not so good when it's dripping like an old worn out tap.

This actually works! I'd been using the Classic bottles that pet shops sell, but was getting fed up of our guinea pig cage being constantly sopping wet due to them leaking. These are 3x the price of a Classic bottle, but worth it! No more drips and a happy Piggy who has a dry cage once again - and a happy owner who's no longer dealing with wet bedding in the cage 😀

By far the best guinea pig water bottle I have come across. Easy to install, fill and fix to cage. No problems like the other standard crystal clear cheap bottles. Worth the money.

This is not the item I ordered before! The nozzle is HUGE (that's what she said).. Clearly too big for guinea pigs. Seller offered me a 50% refund and I keep the items, which I took as I can still use the bottles that came with them. (ordered 2) But I cannot use the nozzles as my guinea's choose the old smaller ones that are regular sized for them.

Quality not bad but doesn’t work for mice. The ball is too large and heavy they can’t press it to get water out. Would only recommend for larger animals like rabbits or Guinea pigs

In a world where we have so much technology and many products available to us from around the world, I struggle to understand why pet cages and accessories are horrible, poorly made and ineffective. It’s almost as though having “pets” is a new concept. FINALLY, a well built, inexpensive product from some genius who understands that people need products that work!! This is the best water bottle for any cage that I’ve ever had. I’ve bought 5 different types in the last two years and hate them all. They don’t stay upright, they leak, they don’t fit the cage and break quickly. This is your solution to all of those things. A 3 year old could install this. It sits perfectly in the corner of my cage and is tightly secured. I moved the cage around and the water bottle doesn’t budge or leak. It’s only one big screw tab that you have to tighten or loosen to put it on or take off. It’s lightweight, but decent quality and the fittings are all thicker and more durable. The spout is angled down just right making it easy for your pets to drink. I am replacing all of my other pet water bottles and never looking back. Why can’t more companies make pet products that actually work and are practical? I can’t wait to try some of their other items. If you’ve been frustrated like I have or you’re just looking for a decent water bottle without the hassle of buying and trying, just buy this one to begin with and you’ll be glad you did!!
