Normally I purchase at Whole Foods in a refrigerated section... but Amazon is 30% cheaper.** A: I used to work in the supplement section at Whole Foods and this is the brand I use personally. They have two versions, one that is shelf stable and one that is kept refrigerated. I can promise you the refrigerated version came in on a refrigerated truck and was not compromised before going to the cooler shelf (at all the WF I worked at). So in short, there are two versions and you do lose quality/quantity if the cold version is out of the fridge for any extended time. **Q: Does this brand require refrigeration?
