Per my Physical Therapist I place ball high on wall and move it in little circles for tendinitis is shoulder. Has strengthen shoulder muscles.

am a five year brain cancer. Patient and I have suffered multiple strokes over the years due to the tumors, pressing uncertain parts of my brain. After each stroke, I have had a decline in the ability of my left hand and left leg. I bought one of these balls in the 1.1 and the 2.2 pounds and I find them extremely beneficial to use to improve my grass, my grip and my overall ability to hold. I even took them to work and use them at my desk. They are small enough so that they do not draw attention and I am able to go through a variety of exercises throughout the day to help increase the use of my left hand. For anyone suffering from the loss of the use of their left hand, I would highly recommend these tools. I purchased the 1.1 pound and the 2.2 pound as I needed to start off with something low and work my way up. They have a wonderful rubber texture to them, which makes them easy to grip And the feel of the material is very comfortable against my skin. I have been using these balls for the last six months, and I would definitely say that my ability to grab and hold something has improved as well as my ability to use my fingers to rotate and manipulate objects in my hand. Highly recommend.

I ordered was not sent the first time, received it. But it was not handed to me as the note said. It was handed to a guy. I am glad to receive my ball for my PT exercises.

I have been getting PT or months now and they use these Theraband balls and since I like to do exercises at home, I bought this one because it's not too heavy. I like it a lot and maybe I'll get a couple of heavier ones.

I’m recovering from rotator cuff surgery and doing as many of the exercises as possible at home that I’m doing at physical therapy visits. This ball is easy to grip and perfect. I just graduated up to the 4.4 lb ball and purchased that one too.

I bought this brand because TheraBand is a well known & respected company & we have used other products from them with no complaints. They seem to be high quality & long lasting. I also noted that this was the brand that my husband's hand therapist uses. So I chose this brand. Later when I told her she said that it was a good choice as she has had her set of these balls from TheraBand for many, many years with no deterioration in any way and they're in use daily at her practice. This is good to know because when it hits the floor with a thud - it's comforting to know it's not going to split over time. It feels good in the hand as it seems well balanced & is comfortable to the touch. Before purchasing I did read reviews on less expensive soft weighted therapy balls but the quality seemed sketchy - especially where in one case the surface of the ball was tacky to the touch & actually left a permanent mark on a wooden dresser where it was placed . All in all, very pleased with my choice.

I use this ball daily to recover my hand muscles, and I feel improvements after the exercises. What I don’t like is the rustling of the filler inside—it would be better if it were more compact. Overall, it’s a great sports-medical tool for training.

Ball is great , diameter perfect for lower back rolls to adjust tight muscles against solid objectss (walls and chaiirs), firmness of ball is medium. Throw in backpack or purse for easy travel. Recomended

Nice quality weights...if I had to do it over (am a senior) would have chosen the regular 2lb weight
