SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active (40mm), phone ,Black - US Version with Warranty (Renewed)

I got this watch as a BDay gift. What was really attractive to me at the beginning was that the main screen displayed all the parameters I wanted to have at a glance: time, date, temperature, battery percent and steps. FUNCTIONALITY - It took me a very short time to learn how to use its health features: steps, calories burnt, heart beat, stress level, workouts, etc. I also have an option to connect with a community of people who use this watch to track their activity habits and get motivated from each other but I have not used it yet. FEATURES - One feature that is especially useful is the sleeping pattern measurement. It shows the time of light sleep, REM and deep sleep and it gave me the insight needed to improve my sleeping habits. I also love the steps and burnt calorie feature, which together with the food calorie count plus the water and caffeine count is very helpful for my weight loss plan. AESTHETICS - the watch is elegant for a hi-tech gadget. The copper surround of the black dial is slick, while the wrist bend ( a very pale salmon pink color) is extra soft and looks almost white under bright sun light. I would highly recommend this watch because it is functional, its features are very motivating for a healthy lifestyle and it is pretty.

The watch by itself is amazing. I'm here to review the fact that it is a refurbished/renewed electronic. It was delivered super fast, it came in its original box, all accessories came in the box and were original (or at least that's what they looked like), looked and felt brand new, even came with protective plastic peel-off stickers. So far the unboxing experience was intact. Now the important thing; the watch. The only negative I could find is that it did not come with the peel-off stickers (but that's expected). Apart from that, it was in perfect shape. Mint condition. No scratches, bumps, dust, not a single sign of wear. Aesthetics 10/10. And after a few days of use I can confidently say the same for the internals, battery runs as advertised and all functionalities work just fine. I love it, it's an amazing extension for my phone (an iPhone) and a great fitness tracker. Gives me all notifications I need, helps me stay active (hence the name), looks modern and stylish... it is great. If you were hesitant to buy it, this is your call to do it. Even if it is a refurb to save a few bucks. You will love it too.

battery life on my watch is awful! it also came scratched (not as big a deal as the battery tho). Overall its a lack luster watch with poor battery life and it seems like there is a bunch of loopholes to not give you money back. The app for the watch is great, but its not very useful if the battery doesn't last at all. I use it basically to count steps (no spotify or texting) for the past two days and it doesn't even last the day. bought with amazon prime and wanted to return it. you have to PAY for shipping it back (despite the prime) and they say the following down below. As far as battery life, I can't really answer that. I bought this for my son, and I have them turn in all their electronics at night, so the watch gets charged every other night. It is usually reading below 30% on the battery. I don't know how long that 30% would last, and during the day, the watch is almost always going off because of snap chat. I don't think the use of a smart watch battery on a 13 year old, would be the same as an adult. Easy to use, easy to set up, and a really great accessory for anyone but especially for a child. No longer are my texts being ignored or not seen. It's great for when they are at school and you just need to leave them a note like "you forgot your keys, they are ..... so you aren't locked out in 10 degree weather" and such. Great seller, delivery on time, and was everything that was expected.

This watch does so much! I am able to do quick response to text or talk into my watch to respond to a message. I can read most of a shorter email without looking at my phone. Along with I can customize the watch face. The battery last maybe 2 days which is a downfall though. It doesn't matter if I don't use my watch a lot or use it every few minutes it still dies quickly. I do have the ability to create a new text to all my contacts from the watch which is awesome along with tracking my sleep, steps, stress and heart rate. All in all I would buy this again and would look at getting a newer model if the battery life is improved. This is worth the buy if you want to try the Samsung watch series and don't want to pay the huge price for a new one. Another huge plus is the only times my watch discconents from my phone is when I get to far away or it dies, much better than the Fitbit that would just unsync to my phone.

I don't think I can say enough good things about this watch... You can texted alot can record speech from your own mouth being right next to it. It won't record conversations. It's not a spy watch.. it has a network that tells you how much stress your having. It can control your calendar reminders and do everything except play music and be a speaker. I just gave my cat a bath with it on. Totally waterproof. Love's it.

Really liked the style, size, and functionality of this watch. However, less than a year after purchasing it, the screen started getting periodic lines across it. Then, a few days ago, about 14 months after purchasing it, the screen completely died. Very disappointed in the quality of the product. Should not have to replace a watch every year.
