Review: IT WORKS - The only issue is that it does not really improve the visuals a great deal of some videos on the PS 2. At least not as good as the "before & "after" photos regarding this product, including other products I checked out before purchasing this. However they do state this if you read the info before buying. The picture is improved, just not as much as I was hoping. It is a very easy hook up. One end of the cord fits in the main plug for the PS 2 and the other end is plugged to the device & then to the TV. You will need to change your settings for display on the PS 2 (RGB output) in order to format the picture to the screen. After that you are good to go. No real issues or problems.

A: Yes. Everything comes in the package that is need to play PS2 games on current HDMI TV’s. its like 3 things total.

A: Sorry, but there is no way to get the '4:3' and 'av ntsc' watermarks. It only appears when switching.

A: HDMI Female to Make would work and you can pick your own distance

**Q: ?What's the max resolution for ps1 and ps2**
A: 480I or 480P. I got the PS3 backwards compatible so I can play PS1/PS2 games with better picture and quality. The ps3 smooths it out.

I got this as I no longer own a TV with RCA jacks to hook up my PS2 console. It worked perfectly. Easy to hook up and really is "Plug and Play". There is no improvement to the game video quality, but I didn't expect there to be. Others seem to be surprised or disappointed by that but The game video quality is determined by the game DVD so I didn't expect an improvement. My console sat for a few years, but it is back up and working well now because I purchased this adapter so I can use it with modern TV/Monitors. Really worth it!
