Use this 3 to 4 times a week as instructed to keep my folliculitis in check (after a couple of applications of chlorhexidine). I don't use any other product with it, so my hair and scalp just feel really clean. More importantly, no more pimples on my scalp! Wonderful!Expensive but worth it. Wish it came in a larger size.

This is my review after five months of use. I want to share what I’ve learned. The quick review is that this shampoo won't completely prevent all breakouts, it definitely helps manage them.I USED to suffer from scalp pimples, and nothing seemed to work. After taking antibiotics due to a tick bite, my pimples went away, but about two months later, they returned. I tried this product, and while it helped minimize the outbreaks, it didn’t completely solve the problem. I was still getting four to three pimples that wouldn’t go away. I think it was due to a severe outbreak.Eventually, I saw my doctor, who prescribed Clindamycin phosphate topical solution, and to my relief, the pimples disappeared after 2 weeks. I kept using this shampoo to see its effectiveness, and it works. I finished the topical antibiotics about 3 months ago, and since then, I now only get about one pimple a month. So you will get the occasional pimple, but it stops your scalp from having a full-blown outbreak. Pro-tip: Have some on hand just in case that pimple pops. So you can go to the nearest bathroom and wash your scalp. Also, anytime you get a haircut, go home immediately and wash your scalp.This shampoo is great for managing the issue, but you may need medication to resolve the outbreaks initially. Then it's smooth sailing afterward. I hope this review helps!Yes, it does have a smell, but it's not that bad. If you can't stand it at the very end of your shower, use a regular shampoo or conditioner to help mask the odor.

Not sure whats been going on for the past year, i have been having extremely painful tiny bumps in very specific locations on my scalp. I could understand if this was everywhere, at random, but its very specific. and one or two here, and there. went to my dermatologist, and he told me to purchase this as a remedy for my issue. have used this as directed by my dermatologist, twice a week, and follow the instructions on the bottle. this has drastically helped my painful issue. Ive tried all kinds of other various expensive over the counter shampoos. this one is working. I HIGHLY recommend this item.
