Since glock is made in austria, is the knife as well? or is it made in china like most cheap and dissapointing knives?

As a supplier to the Austrian military, Gaston Glock was making knives, shovels and ammo cans in Austria well before he made 16 prototype handguns and a 17th production model (Glock 17). I have hard used my Glock field knife by sticking it in things you shouldn't and cutting anything in front of me. I gave the one I purchased recently as a gift to a heavy machine mechanic. He actually uses his harder than I have used mine. I would compare the Glock durability to a Cold Steel product. The fit and finish of the Glock knife is extremely utilitarian (like the pistols). While it will not win a beauty competition it will serve you very well. (P.S. The shovels are even better!).

Does this knife come with a matching Glock polymer sheath?

Yes, it did. The sheath holds the knife very securely. I think you will be very happy with this knife, I really like mine, like all things Glock, it is well made.

Can the knife be turned around in the sheath for left hand carry? thanks!

The knife can be either right or left hand and the sheath can be worn on either side of the body.

Is the blade metal continous through the handle?
