I turned off the power to the garage door (from the electrical panel for the house). 2. I took out the 2 screws that held the old console to the wall. 3. I unscrewed the 2 screws that held the wires coming from the wall to the back of the old wall console. 4. I then connected the 2 wires to the new wall console as they were on the old one. 5. I connected the wall console to the wall using the other 2 screws. 6. I turned the power back on. It was fully functional at this point. How easy is that. Worked perfectly!
