My search is over at last.

A bit dramatic perhaps, but true in any case. I have been trying for months to find a decent lighter to use with my pipe. I have either found something far too powerful or nowhere near powerful enough and with no way to know if the lack of power was due to a lack of fuel since there was no way to know how much fuel was on board or how successful my attempts were at filling the tank. This lighter solves the power problem since the flame is easily adjustable from an intense jet to something softer. The fuel problem is the biggest win because you can easily see how much fuel is in the tank as well as being able to instantly watch that level change as you are refilling the fuel. So this is my perfect lighter.

High quality functioning butane torch

This torch is great. It fires first time every time. I love the clear tank that let's me see how much fuel I have. I just started using it as a regular lighter with the converter switch on top. Regular lighter on one and torch on the other. Made with high quality parts.

Inconsistent soft flame, will not ignite every time. Very irritating. Torch works well.
