Wasn't even putting pressure on it yet. Gave it two stars because I can use the handles with the next set of bands I buy - which won't be this brand.Update: Company responded to my review offering replacements, but I'd already ordered something else so I didn't follow through. They contacted me by email to let me know they had sent a replacement by USPS. It took awhile to be delivered. They emailed me every couple of days checking on the delivery. The day it arrived, they had already emailed me saying they were *overnighting* a *second* replacement. I offered to refuse delivery on the second replacement, but they graciously told me to keep them both with their compliments.Everybody makes a lemon now and then, but the way they handle it carries more weight with me than had the product been right to begin with. At no point did I initiate a complaint with them - they saw a problem, and they picked it up and ran with it, followed through diligently, and were in every way delightful to work with.Oh, and by the way, the replacements are just as sturdy as the Therabands I ordered to replace them. There's nothing wrong with the Therabands, but the Super Exercise bands are 2 feet longer - 7 feet instead of 5 - and that opens up a whole range of additional possibilities for them. Now I have enough to keep a set everywhere I spend time, one at home, one on the RV, and one to pack while traveling. I can use it for more different varieties of exercise because of the long length. Also, the band from two years ago is completely intact despite frequent use. I needed the next strength up, green, so checked Amazon. This was a great bargain...three bands plus the extras. I need a band which can be shortened, which is harder with the tube type, and I need two free ends. I practice zen archery, and need to strengthen my upper back muscles. I tie both ends of the band to a hammer handle, mimicking a bow and its string, easily adjusting to the length I need. (Hammer handles are cheap, and they're formed to fit the hand.) I can then hold the handle vertical, as I do my bow, and pull back slowly with my other hand. Good for my back, good for my posture.
