Review: You don't know what you got till it's gone! - I am a colored pen FANATIC, and before these babies I had never used a ballpoint pen that I liked. But these were great. They glided smoothly across paper and never bled through. The colors were perfect. Everything about using them was just so enjoyable. However, three days ago, I lost them. And this is what it took to realize how much they mean to me. I have tried taking notes with my Sharpie pens, which used to be my favorite, but it's just not the same. The colors aren't as vibrant, the ink runs out quickly, they aren't as comfortable to hold...I MISS MY G2 PENS!!! I know I probably sound like I'm being paid to endorse this product, and everyone on desertcart is skeptical of extremely positive reviews (including myself), but I am truly writing this out of my own will. Because I realized from being without them over the past few days what a positive difference these pens have made in my life. For one thing, I could never get myself to take notes while reading my textbooks before. It bored me, so I wouldn't do it. However, I enjoyed writing with these pens so much that I would LOOK for excuses to use them, and taking notes was a perfect reason! Needless to say, my grades skyrocketed from the notetaking, and I attribute that directly to these pens. I also found that my Spanish instructor really likes when I do my work in color (as long as the color is dark enough to be readable, which most of the colors in this set are), and he writes notes like "fun to grade!" on my papers. What am I gonna do now that I don't have my pens and I have a Spanish test tomorrow!? MY PROFESSOR WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED! hahaha I joke, but seriously...I actually LIKE taking tests, writing essays, doing homework, etc when I'm using these pens. That has never happened before in my entire life! I am diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, and I won't get into specifics, but I have tried many different prescriptions and cognitive therapies to no avail. It turned out that all I really needed was to start doing work in color and I feel so engaged that I ENJOY doing it! I wish I'd discovered this about myself in high school. It would have spared me a lot of needless frustration... I can't guarantee that all ADDers will experience this phenomenon as I did, but if you are an artistic/creative (but distractible) person like I am, this might just be the answer for you. Alright, well I'm gonna finish up this review now because I need to order another set...I can't stand the separation anxiety any longer! Edit: After using these for almost a year, I stand by my opinion that they are the best pens money can buy! None of the pens have run out of ink after all this time and I use them almost every day! These are the best, hands-down.

**Q: What are the names of the colors included?**
A: I'm not sure of the exact names, but I can give you an overview of all the colors.  There are 4 black, 3 blue, 1 dark blue, 3 different lighter shades of blue, 1 green, 1 dark green, 1 lime green, 1 red, 1 burgundy(ish...almost like a brown), 1 pink, 1 light brown, 1 orange, and 1 purple.

**Q: What size would be the best for journal writing?**
A: That would depend upon the size of the journal and the individuals handwriting.

**Q: Do you get what want in this photo? All the colors come together?**
A: I ordered and received the 8-pack of colored Pilot G-2 pens, but yes, I did get everything in the photo that was provided for the 8-pack photo, not the 20-pack (only because that's not the one I ordered). All the colors came together. Hope this helps!

**Q: Does this set include glitter, neon, metallic? I am looking for a set of just regular gel.**
A: I don't believe so. I have only written with about 4 of them so far. There are a couple black pens that are the same item. Maybe the red also. I think they are just the regular gel colors.

I am a colored pen FANATIC, and before these babies I had never used a ballpoint pen that I liked. But these were great. They glided smoothly across paper and never bled through.
