Great sound from the Borla Exhaust
Product was well packaged, arrived on time and installation was straight forward. Supplied exhaust tube made installing the mufflers easier than the factory exhaust and matched up to the crossover pipe very well. No issues and sounds amazing. The S type II has just the right blend of rumble and performance without being overly noisy.

Sounds great
The muffler on the left did not have the proper bend, so mods had to be made to get the right fitment.

Borla over Billy Boat all day long.
I had installed a axl back exhaust on my C5 corvette which bolts to the exhaust pipes in front of the drivetrain. The C6 is more difficult to install because it is a slip on and I had to seterate the x pipe and cats from the headers to get the borla pipe to slip on. The install was much more difficult than I expected and I would only recommend a DIY install for someone that has a lift. As far as the product itself. It is a 10 all the way around. The quality, finish and sound with long tube headers, high flow cats and x pipe is serfect. I would highly recommend this to any C6 owner. I purchased the car with the Billy Boat Bullet exhaust that sounded like pure straight pipes and was obnoxious. I do not recommend the Billy Boat unless the car is used the the track. You could not hear yourself think when it was on the car. Just my two cents on that. The Borla is awesome.

Perfect and I'm a critic
The installation was fast. 05 Corvette C6 dual exhaust. I tried small Flowmasters, Resonators and Hot Tomales from Paradox muffler, while the exhaust tone was OK the resonance was unbearable. Meaning it hurt your ears, was too loud to talk and driving up a hill was so bad you didn't want to drive the car anymore. I put two Borla 11815's on which cost 15x's more money, but I couldn't be happier!!! The tone is deep and somewhat loud, but not too loud. Any louder and it wouldn't be classy and the ladies might think it's too little boy loud. Now it's just downright impressive. When you step on the gas it gets louder, but all within acceptable limits. You can valet your car at a fine restaurant and not feel silly, but rather cool!!!

The shop I had install the mufflers told me it fit well, but the hook up pipes needed extra work.
The Corvette C6 needed emission repair, catalytic converters to put out the check engine light.

Sounds great but poor quality control for the price
Exhaust sounds great but for the money very poor quality control. The exhaust had dirt on the inside and wasn't properly cleaned after welding. The pipe attached to the muffler was bent. To account for this someone at the factory shaved down the pipe on that side. This issue? They shaved down the wrong end... Had to take a file and spend an extra 30 minutes to get the pipe to slide in. For the amount of money you shouldn't need to make modifications and the exhaust should have been checked (box was undamaged). My headers and xpipe combo cost hundreds of dollars less and were made in China and had none of these issues. Mufflers look only slightly smaller than stock but the noise difference is noticeable and gives the exhaust a nice deep note. I personally wouldn't go with anything more aggressive than this for a street setup with longtube headers. It gurgles/pops a little on deceleration (no cats for my setup) and sounds great without being obnoxious.

Borla 11815 S-Type Exhaust Rear Section
I am very please with Borla's exhaust for the C-6 Corvette. They arrived very quickly and the installation was straight forward. To expedite the install I cut 6" off of the old stock pipes. This made it easier to remove them. I didn't care about saving them. Installing the new Borla's was very easy. They bolted right into place. The sound is perfect, throaty on acceleration with the burble sound upon de-acceleration. At freeway speeds when the rpm's are below 2000 there is no annoying drone in the cockpit. If you are considering the Borla's I would recommend the S-Type for the best of both worlds.
