They really help allot at cleaning inside of your pipe. They’re pretty strong, but like all pipe cleaners, once you bend them, time to get a new one. They’re pretty good price wise, and I’ll continue to buy more.

Copper and cotton so good for cleaning tight spots; however, in my pipe it leaves some cotton fibers behind. So minus one star for tobacco pipes.

My dad uses these to clean his pipe. He recommends these. Good value for them.

These are the good pipe cleaners - they have the hard bristles that help get the gunk out of tight places.

I was lucky in that my eyes have not failed me - the sticks proved to be dimensionally and structurally ideal for the job on hand: I have an old knockout rose with the central trunk rotting at the core, creating a narrow somewhatt twisting channel of the depth of about 5 in. First, I had to expel some minature ants from out there. To that end I have poured inside a copper soap insecticide. Gave it a few days to dry out, but this was not quite successful in that the channel was so narrow and deep to allow much air into it. I have used the Zen sticks to clean the channel thouroughly before caulking. The sticks proved to be God made and sent - perfect length and diameter, hard bristles, but not so hard so as hurt a hand while pushing and pulling and twisting the sticks. It took some twenty of them to decently remove the inside gunk. The sticks seem to have inside some soft structural wire, because they are easily bent and unbent. FinalIy I have put a stick in the chuck of a hand drill and gave the opening a good rotational scrubbing to hopefullly reach a sound wood after which I have caulked the channel. For a good measure I also inserted one stick into the channel, for the caulk to solidify faster. and eventually to be able to pull out the entire contraption if the rose did not like it for some reason. So far so good after few days.

I was looking for nontoxic pipe cleaners to make cat toys out of, these were very prickly, which is probably good for cleaning pipes maybe!! But not for cat toys! Lol

These are good for cleaning the Vapor Chamber in my vaporiser. Better than some other pipe cleaners that leave bits of cotton in the pipe, these clean well and and are also absorbent

I just picked up some old pipes of mine that had been sitting in storage for years. I used these pipe cleaners by dipping them in isopropyl alcohol and using them twisting, and flossing them through my pipes. These pipes were years old and had a lot of caked on residue. But using this method I was able to get them in good working order again. Only thing I will say is be careful when you use them. You can definitely jab yourself with the stiff bristles for an unpleasant experience. If you are careful though they’ll do just fine. Very pleased with my purchase, and I’m sure I’ll be back for more as needed
